On Saturday afternoon, engineers working in the tunnel said water levels were 減ずるing, but 警告するd the 容積／容量 of water was '前例のない'.

Images 逮捕（する）d from the Ebbsfleet 入り口 to the tunnel showed water タンカーs at the 場所／位置.

A Met Office spokesperson told the PA news 機関 the problem was ありそうもない to have been 原因（となる）d by bad 天候 because there had been 'no 強い雨 夜通し or in the area'.

She said: 'Our problem is to get a night to sleep because London is really expensive and we don't have an Airbnb to stay at tonight.

'We going to have to 配列し直す everything. I don't think we are going to be able to spend New Year's Eve in Paris because even if we get a flight for tomorrow we're going to get there at like 10pm/11pm.'

Christina David, 25, and Georgina Benyamin, 26, from Sydney, have been travelling in Europe for about three weeks and their planned final stop is Paris, where they hoped to spend New Year's Eve and New Year's Day before 飛行機で行くing home on January 7.

Ms Benyamin said: 'Now we have to 調書をとる／予約する a hotel to stay for the night here.'
