Broadcasting (n)役員/(a)執行力のある Stewart Purvis CBE (above) said there is '救済 across the BBC' that the 'extraordinarily 損失ing saga' has been 解決するd

This comes after broadcasting (n)役員/(a)執行力のある Stewart Purvis CBE said there is '救済 across the BBC' that the 'extraordinarily 損失ing saga' has been 解決するd.

He 追加するd that Edwards having 'walked from the BBC' will be 見解(をとる)d as 'やめる a successful 結果' for the 会社/団体.

Speaking to?BBC News this afternoon, Mr Purvis said: 'I'm not surprised that the BBC has had to come to some 結論 on this, 明白に they're 説 that it's at the request of Huw Edwards, but there will be 救済 across the BBC that this 状況/情勢 has been 解決するd.

'Because 率直に it had become embarrassing for the BBC やめる how long it was taking to sort it out.

'The Director General Tim Davie, appearing before a 委員会 in 議会 said that there were four factors. There was the 詳細(に述べる) of the 主張s themselves, there was what it called the privacy 問題/発行するs, there was 義務 of care which is the BBC's 責任/義務 to 従業員 Huw Edwards and also the 合法的 public 利益/興味.

'They've been trying to 重さを計る up all those points and this is the 結果.'

He 追加するd: 'I think the questions from outside will be, is there some sort of 財政上の 解決/入植地 or not? Has Huw Edwards said "look I'll 辞職する, I'll go" or has there been some 肉親,親類d of 交渉 about the 条件 of him going ? we're certainly not 存在 told that now, and probably never be told that unless it 漏れるs.'

The TV (n)役員/(a)執行力のある continued: 'Looking at the high, high profile of Huw Edwards, looking at all the other knock-on 問題/発行するs, for instance, who is going to 現在の the BBC's 選挙 night programme? I think we could have assumed it was not going to be Huw Edwards.

'But the BBC I'm sure would have 手配中の,お尋ね者 to get on and 発表する who is so they had to, in a sense, 解決する the Huw Edwards 問題/発行する first. That's just one of the extra questions they've had.

'First of all, by and large, the most important 問題/発行する was making the 権利 裁判/判断 about what Huw Edwards did and working out what the 権利 返答 to that is and what 肉親,親類d of precedent it might 始める,決める.

'Because there are all sorts of 問題/発行するs arising from whether an offence had been committed, whether something 不適切な has been committed, whether there had been a 違反 of 契約.?

'All those 問題/発行するs had to be 重さを計るd up and if the 解答 at the end of the day is that Huw Edwards walked from the BBC, then the BBC would see that as やめる a successful 結果 for what has been an extraordinarily 損失ing saga for the BBC.

'You can't have the fact one of the most 信用d men in Britain turn out really to not be worthy of that 信用.'

His words come after the BBC said today that its 星/主役にする 錨,総合司会者, who broke the news of Queen Elizabeth II 's death and 現在のd ニュース報道 of most major 国家の events 含むing 選挙s and the 載冠(式)/即位(式) , left the 会社/団体 on health grounds.
