Australia is experiencing a shocking 暴力／激しさ-against women 疫病／流行性の, with the 破滅的な death （死傷者）数 climbing across the country each week.?

Emma Bates, 49, became the 26th woman to die after 恐らく 存在 強襲，強姦d this year, after she was 設立する dead at her Cobram home, in Victoria 近づく the NSW 国境, on Tuesday.

Her 隣人 John Torney, 39 - who was on a?community 是正s order after recently 存在 解放（する）d from 刑務所，拘置所 for 強襲，強姦 - has been 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d over the 申し立てられた／疑わしい attack.

On 普通の／平均（する）, a woman is killed every nine days by a 現在の or former partner - but 2024 has so far signalled an alarming 上向きs 傾向.?

So far this year, a woman has been killed in Australia every four days - with eleven more deaths as of April this year compared to this time last year.

1. Ankle bracelets

The cash 上げる （機の）カム after a Tasmanian 操縦する program was incredibly successful, 論証するing a '76 per cent 減少（する） of high-危険 出来事/事件s, 81 per cent 削減 of 脅しs and 100 per cent 減少（する） in 報告（する）／憶測s of stalking'.?

The 熟考する／考慮する also 設立する 80 per cent of 違反者／犯罪者s also 'did not re-感情を害する／違反する' in the six months after.?

However, Geoffrey Watson SC, director at the Centre for Public 正直さ, argues it should not be hard to あわてて rollout GPS trackers.?

Mr Watson argued the 政府 can be quick to 制定する change when it wants to, such as with the Howard 政府's gun 改革（する）s after the 1996 Port Arthur 大虐殺.?

'The police, with some 監督 by the 法廷，裁判所s, need to be given the 力／強力にする to 支配（する）／統制する the men （刑事）被告 of these offences,' he wrote in the Sydney Morning 先触れ（する）. 'Such 支配（する）／統制する orders are already 井戸／弁護士席-recognised.

'They are 適用するd in many circumstances where there is only a 疑惑 of 危険, and in the absence of a 有罪の判決 ? 保釈（金） 法律s and 条件s are obvious examples.

'In other words, it is nothing new, and it can be done.'

Mr Watson argues that making 報告（する）／憶測ing 条件s more stringent could help police officers 伸び（る） more 支配（する）／統制する over high-危険 違反者／犯罪者s and 阻止する them from committing その上の offences.

3. Legalisation of pepper spray?
