A nursery 労働者 （刑事）被告 of 殺人，大当り a nine-month-old baby after 恐らく leaving her 直面する 負かす／撃墜する and strapped to a bean 捕らえる、獲得する for more than an hour told police she'd put the baby 'on her 味方する', a 法廷，裁判所 has heard.?

Genevieve Meehan died after she was 設立する unresponsive at the Tiny Toes Children's Day Nursery in Cheadle Hulme, Greater Manchester, on May 9, 2022.

In a ビデオ interview she gave to police that was played to to the 陪審／陪審員団, she 主張するd she had left Genevieve - known as Gigi - 'on her 味方する' on the bean 捕らえる、獲得する.

Roughley told officers she had 'swaddled' the baby in a 一面に覆う／毛布 before placing her 負かす／撃墜する.

One officer then asked her: 'What position did you put her on the bean-捕らえる、獲得する?'

Roughley replied: 'On her 味方する.'

The officer then asked which 味方する and Roughley replied to the '権利' with her 長，率いる 直面するing 'to the left'.

'I've never explained it in that way before which is why I'm a bit 混乱させるd,' Roughley 追加するd.?

Peter Wright KC, 起訴するing, told them: 'Her death was not the result of some terrible or 避けられない 事故.

'We say her death arose from ill- 治療 she 苦しむd at the 手渡すs of this 被告.

Genevieve had been dropped off by her parents John and Katie at 9am and was 設立する unresponsive later that day at around 3.12pm.

He said Genevieve had been put to sleep by Roughley that afternoon, who had swaddled her in a 一面に覆う／毛布 so tightly she was unable to move.

He said Genevieve was '苦しめるd by this 治療' yet her cries were ignored and she was left tightly swaddled, 抑制するd and covered in this position from around 1.35pm until she was discovered unresponsive - an hour and 37 minutes later.

Mr Wright told the 陪審／陪審員団 that any level of 利益／興味 in the wellbeing of Genevieve during this period was '時折起こる and at best fle eting'.

'The 危険 to her of asphyxiation and death was, we say, both serious and obvious,' he said.

'Yet the 被告 ignored it and by the time she checked on Genevieve with anything ばく然と 代表するing any 本物の 利益／興味 in her 条件 it was too late.'

Nursery staff and paramedics 試みる／企てるd to resuscitate Genevieve and she was taken to hospital but couldn't be saved.

It's 申し立てられた／疑わしい that in the days 主要な up to the 悲劇 Roughley had shown a '欠如（する） of affection' に向かって Genevieve that was 'not 単に 明白な, but 有形の'.

Roughley, of Heaton Norris, Stockport, 否定するs 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金s of 過失致死 and child cruelty.

Sarah Elliot KC, defending, 以前 told the 陪審／陪審員団 Genevieve's death was 'a terrible and 避けられない 事故' but not 原因（となる）d by any 行為／法令／行動する by Roughley that was unlawful.
