The planned train strikes will 原因(となる) a number of disruptions to travellers' 週末 計画(する)s over the first bank holiday in May, with services across Greater Anglia, Northern, Thameslink, Southern, Southeastern and SWR all 直面するing 限られた/立憲的な to no service.

For those travellers who are unable to 避ける travelling, I would 示唆する checking before they make any 旅行. It's also important to remember that 予定 to these 終結s, other lines may be busier than usual during 頂点(に達する) hours so always 許す extra time to make it to their final 目的地.

Drivers will strike on May 7 at c2c, Greater Anglia, GTR 広大な/多数の/重要な Northern Thameslink, Southeastern, Southern, Gatwick 表明する and South Western 鉄道.

On May 8 there will be strikes at Avanti West Coast, Chiltern 鉄道s, CrossCountry, East Midlands 鉄道, 広大な/多数の/重要な Western 鉄道 and West Midlands Trains.

Aslef members at LNER, Northern Trains and TransPennine 表明する will strike on May 9.

Yesterday, rail companies 示唆するd informal 会談 with Aslef in a 企て,努力,提案 to 解決する the 支払う/賃金 論争.

But the move by the Rail 配達/演説/出産 Group (RDG), which 代表するs train 操作者s, will not 影響する/感情 next week's fresh strikes and overtime 禁止(する).

No 会合s have been held between the two 味方するs for a year, while 政府 大臣s have not met Aslef since the start of 2023.

The RDG has written to Aslef 示唆するing informal 会談 which would 許す more formal 交渉s.

An RDG spokesperson said: 'We want to see an end to this 論争 and in that spirit, we have written to the Aslef leadership to try and find areas of ありふれた ground that will 許す us to move to formal 交渉s.'

The 論争 started in the summer of 2022, since when train drivers have taken a number of strikes, 原因(となる)ing travel 大混乱 for 乗客s and 抱擁する 財政上の 攻撃する,衝突するs on 部門s such as 歓待.

Aslef general 長官 Mick Whelan 述べるd it as a 'soft touch approach' from the RDG.

He said he (悪事,秘密などを)発見するd a 'slight change of mood' after such a long period when no 接触する has been made between the union and 雇用者s and 輸送(する) 大臣s.

'We are 明白に not going to say no to any 試みる/企てる to 持つ/拘留する proper 交渉s,' he said.
