The man 誤って （刑事）被告 of 存在 the crazed Bondi Junction 攻撃者 by online trolls and Channel 7 has 勧めるd police to 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金 those who spread the misinformation.
Benjamin Cohen was wrongly identified as the 悪党／犯人 across social マスコミ within hours of the April 13 attack which killed five women and one man at Westfield Bondi Junction.

'Before Seven broadcast his 指名する on its Sunday morning program Sunrise, 確かな persons had wilfully identified Ben as the 攻撃者 on social マスコミ by 地位，任命するing his photo and profile from his LinkedIn page,' Mr George said in the 声明.
'These persons maliciously 地位，任命するd the 誤った 告訴，告発 for their own 妥当でない 目的s, in some 事例／患者s 簡単に to draw attention to themselves.
'It spread like wildfire not just in Australia but throughout the world over the Saturday night.'
Mr Cohen said on the 問題／発行する that '使用者s who 乱用 a 壇・綱領・公約 to 的 individuals or communities should be held accountable for the consequences of their 活動／戦闘s, and 壇・綱領・公約s should be more accountable for the content they host'.

The real 悪党／犯人 who turned a knife on 18 people - 殺人，大当り six - before 存在 発射 dead by a police officer was identified as Joel Cauchi, 40, hours after Seven 解放（する）d Mr Cohen's 指名する.
Those killed 含むd new mum Ashlee Good, 38, bride-to-be 夜明け Singleton, 25, mother-of-two Jade Young, 47, Pikria Darchia, 55, Chinese 国家の Yixuan Cheng, 27 and 安全 guard Faraz Tahir, 30.
