She became the BBC's youngest ever 国家の news presenter when she joined Breakfast Time at just 26 years old.

'A long, long time ago, 支援する in the '80s, I was on a programme where a man いじめ(る)d me and I didn't even realise until a few years later,' she told Bella magazine.

Fern started her career at ITV's 地域の 西方の Television in Plymouth and moved to BBC's スポットライト in 1981, before joining Breakfast Time in 1983.

Fern said she has been 'careless' at points in her career and has been too 'gung-売春婦', resulting in 運動ing her 'life into a cul-de-sac'.

She said: 'See, that's where I've been careless. I don't look ? I wait for it to land and go, "Yeah, I'll have a go".

'I'm too gung-売春婦 and I've often driven my life into a cul-de-sac ? and I thought, 2OK, let's get out of there then".'

She said her career has been 'slower' in the last few years but she's been 'very, very lucky' and is now 'just sitting in the shade reading a 調書をとる/予約する and having a nice time in life.'
