PPI mis-selling: Banks to decide on clawback as bosses may have to 返す 特別手当s

But sources at several banks said clawback 条項s were not in place for much of the mis-selling period and even where they were, 適用するing them would difficult.

‘You could try to claw 支援する 特別手当s, but you would find yourself in 法廷，裁判所,’ said one source at a 主要な bank.?

Lloyds Banking Group 長，指導者 (n)役員／(a)執行力のある Antonio Horta-Osorio said last week the bank’s remuneration 委員会 would 診察する whether clawbacks were appropriate. Brian Hartzer, 長，率いる of 王室の Bank of Scotland’s 小売 分割, said on Friday RBS would consider 特別手当 clawbacks, as did HSBC and Barclays.

PPI 政策s, which were designed to 供給する borrowers with a way to keep up 負債 支払い（額）s in the event of illness or redundancy, were 広範囲にわたって mis-sold between 2005 and 2010.
