Homes 不足 上げるs prices

A 不足 of homes has made it a 販売人's market with prices rising for the third month a 列/漕ぐ/騒動 によれば 人物/姿/数字s 解放(する)d today.

The rise in Hometrack's 索引 ? which has 終始一貫して produced one of the most 悲観的な 見通しs on the 所有物/資産/財産 market over the past year ? was its biggest jump since June 2004.

It said the number of 可能性のある 買い手s 登録(する)ing with スパイ/執行官s had risen by 26% during February, while the strong end to 2005 had left 広い地所 スパイ/執行官s 直面するing a 不足 of 所有物/資産/財産s to sell.

Hometrack, which 投票s 広い地所 スパイ/執行官s for its 熟考する/考慮する, said prices in London rose by 0.9% during the month on the 支援する of a 35% 増加する in new 買い手s, but only a 10% jump in 所有物/資産/財産s on the market.

Central London and the City saw the strongest price growth during February at 1.6%, followed by North London at 1.5% and East London at 1.2%.

At the other end of the 規模 the worst 成し遂げるing areas were South Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire, which all 記録,記録的な/記録するd a 0.1% 落ちる in prices.

Richard Donnell, director of 研究 at Hometrack, said: 'Prices are likely to continue to rise over the next month or so as a result of 買い手s returning to the market and 供給(する) remaining 限られた/立憲的な. Most of this growth is likely to be concentrated in southern parts of the country.'

It said there were 140,020 mortgage 是認s in January, with a total value of £12.7bn. This was only 1% lower than December's 強健な 業績/成果, and 8% higher than in January 2005. In line with previous years, the 普通の/平均(する) 是認 for house 購入(する) fell in January, to £126,800.
