Millennials are the 世代 that thinks about their 年金 least - にもかかわらず 存在 closer to 退職 than 世代 Z.?

More than half of those born between 1981 and 1996 say they rarely think about their 年金, によれば data from Investengine.

That compares to 43 per cent of adults in Gen Z, born between 1997 and 2012, and 38 per cent of 世代 X, born between 1965 and 1980.

Millennials' 不本意 may be a 事例/患者 of burying their 長,率いる in the sand, as only 35 per cent think that their 年金 will be enough to get them through 退職.

Millennials also in the dark about 年金 料金s?

Millennials are also the least knowledgeable about their 年金s and the 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金s they may be 支払う/賃金ing to their provider, によれば the 研究.?

Some 45 per cent said they weren't aware that they were 支払う/賃金ing 料金s on their workplace 年金, compared with just 34 per cent of Gen X and 41 per cent of Gen Z.

A large number of millennials, 37 per cent, said they don't understand their 年金 at all.?

Just under a third believed that higher 年金 料金s are an 指示する人(物) of a higher 質 年金 基金, meaning that many may find themselves 支払う/賃金ing over the 半端物s.

Workplace 年金 基金 料金s are capped at 0.75 per cent per year.

最近の 人物/姿/数字s from Interactive 投資家 明らかにする/漏らす that 83 per cent of the 全体にわたる 全住民 don't know what 料金s they are 支払う/賃金ing on their 年金.

Craig Rickman, 年金s 専門家 at Interactive 投資家, explains: 'Every 続けざまに猛撃する you 支払う/賃金 in 料金s that doesn't translate to a better 結果, is a 続けざまに猛撃する いっそう少なく for you to enjoy in your golden years.?

'The tricky part for savers is that, while portability of 年金s means that you can switch to somewhere else that 供給するs better value, many don't know how much their 現在の providers 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金.'

However, high 料金s, even capped, could still eat into a 年金 基金 井戸/弁護士席 into the thousands of 続けざまに猛撃するs.

How much could high 料金s 影響する/感情 YOUR 年金 マリファナ?

In comparison, 減ずるing the 料金 to 0.5 per cent would 削減(する) the 料金s over 40 years to just £44,155, and as a result of more 料金s 存在 投資するd over the period the 全体にわたる value of the マリファナ would also 増加する by £79,513 to £671,224, based on an eight per cent 普通の/平均(する) 年次の return.

Prosser said: 'As the 世代 of 自動車-enrolment, millennials may 簡単に have had より小数の 推論する/理由s to think about and engage with their 年金, but this has led to some alarming findings.

'Most 関心ing is the 欠如(する) of understanding around the long-称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語 衝撃 that seemingly low 年金 料金s can have on their 退職 貯金. Even small 百分率s 追加する up to life-changing sums over time.'

'My 長,率いる is in the sand'

Sarah, 38, a teaching assistant from Bristol, told This is Money that her 年金 簡単に isn't her 優先.

'I've got a pretty busy lifestyle with family, hobbies and work - it just doesn't take 優先.?

'I'll also 収容する/認める that my 長,率いる is in the sand because it feels a long way off before I'll need it.'

She 追加するd: 'In my previous 職業, I got sent 年4回の updates through the 地位,任命する, I would open it up and get easily 圧倒するd by all the jargon and 人物/姿/数字s so I'd skim read it, then とじ込み/提出する it away with all the others.

'In my 現在の 職業 there's a 年金 website where you can see what's happening and choose to make it higher 危険, but I've nev er logged on to it.'

人物/姿/数字s from Scottish 未亡人s shows that 38 per cent of people's 年金 マリファナs aren't on 跡をつける to adequately 基金 their 退職, with many only beginning to engage with their 退職 基金s later in life.

Sarah said: 'I guess as I get nearer to 製図/抽選 my 年金 I will need to give it much more attention. I will probably reach an age where I really want to know how much longer I need to work for, and that's when I'll start really needing to 人物/姿/数字 it all out.

'Hopefully my ignorance won't come 支援する to bite me. I'm hoping that 支払う/賃金ing in every month will be enough, and I'm putting my 信用 in the system that I'll get what I'm 借りがあるd when the time comes... although maybe that's naive.'
