The ultra 率 嘆願(書) 栄冠を与える of King Charles II - or 嘆願(書) 栄冠を与える as it is known - was 造幣局d in 1663 and is part of a collection of British and Roman coins to be auctioned.

This particular 嘆願(書) 栄冠を与える is part of the 対処する collection, which was owned by known numismatist Geoffrey 対処する.

The Petiton 栄冠を与える has a 愛国的な history behind it. It was struck by celebrated medallist and coin-designer Thomas Simon, who worked for the 王室の 造幣局, in 1663.

The coin was created by Simon to '嘆願(書)' King Charles II to 復帰させる him as the 単独の 長,指導者 engraver at the 王室の 造幣局 and also as a 嘆願(書) against the 同時代の coins designed by the Flemish brothers John and Joseph Roettiers.

Using new mechanical coin 機械/機構, Simon printed message around the 辛勝する/優位 of the coin asking the King to 'compare this his tryall piece with the Dutch', a dig at the Femish engravers.
