EXCLUSIVEI fled 犯罪のs in the UK for a 静かな life abroad, only to 会合，会う Christian Brueckner の中で Portugal's drifters - but police STILL won't listen to what I have to say about the 長，指導者 Madeleine McCann 嫌疑者，容疑者／疑う
In 2004, Ken Ralphs left the UK with his wife Hazel for a new life in Portugal.
But unlike many expats who choose sunnier climbs over Britain, Ken was not 動機づけるd by 天候 or the cuisine.

He resided in the Algarve,?Portugal's 最南端の 地域 known for its 大西洋 beaches, ゴルフ 訴える手段／行楽地s, holiday homes - and also its off-grid drifter community.
But to many in the UK, the 地域 is also known for the 2007 見えなくなる of Madeleine McCann, a three-year-old British girl who on May 3 that year 消えるd without a trace from the Ocean Club 訴える手段／行楽地 in Praia da Luz.
She had been there with her parents, but was left at home as the adults dined with their friends at the 訴える手段／行楽地's tapas 妨げる／法廷，弁護士業 - 収入 them the 愛称 the Tapas Seven.

Brueckner had already been living on-and-off in the Algarve for a number of years by the time that Ken and Hazel arrived in their campervan in 2004 and joined the drifter community living on campsites and beaches in the?picturesque 地域.

He said that 99 パーセント of the people who arrived in caravans were 'decent lads'. Many were surfers, he said, or expats like he and his wife.

'I've got millions of friends out here [in Portugal] that are nothing like them,' Ken said. 'Even the people that live off-grid today are decent people.

Brueckner was one of the people to know where John's secret （軍の）野営地，陣営 was, Ken said. 'They were knocking about with each other,' he 解任するd.

'[John] told me Christian was planning to take a child from Praia da Luz,' Ken said.
'He then 明らかにするd it was not 身代金, but that it was to take a child to sell to a German couple who could not have children of their own.

He said John explained Brueckner 'worked at the [Ocean Club] restaurant, and that he had been planning events for months.'
The restaurant was the same that Kate and Gerry McCann were in with a group of friends on the night that Madeleine 消えるd.
'He said Christian Knows the place inside out and was very clever and he knows what he is doing,' Ken 追加するd.

A week later, Ken was 支援する in the UK - 簡潔に visiting his father in Stockport - when the news of Madeleine's 見えなくなる broke on the news.
'I was sat in my dad's house having a cup of tea when it （機の）カム on the news - the breaking news when the news （機の）カム out,' an emotional Ken 解任するd. 'First thing I said was 'oh for f*** sake'. My dad asked what's the 事柄, and I told my dad.'
The news left him in 涙／ほころびs, and his father 説得するd him to go to the police - にもかかわらず his past experiences.
Choosing not to return to police in Manchester after his experience in 2004 that 原因（となる）d him to 逃げる to Portugal, Ken said he 行為／法令／行動するd on his father's advice and 配達するd a 声明 to another 駅／配置する outside the city.

The Frenchman told Ken that John had left him with his pet dog after leaving for Africa. This was surprising, Ken said, on account of John having no money.
Ken has never seen or spoken to John again.
He also said he spoke to two GNR (Portugal's 国家の 共和国の／共和党の Guard) 公式の／役人s and gave them the same （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） he had given to police 支援する in the UK.
He said the 公式の／役人s told them they were aware of John, but 疑問d he could be 伴う／関わるd on account of him having a family of his own.

As the story of Madeleine's 見えなくなる 攻撃する，衝突する the 前線 pages, the world's マスコミ descended on Praia da Luz.

'This man [Christian] was standing there in his restaurant pinny still working for them 不法に at the restaurant - which could have put その上の people at 危険.'
By working there, Ken 示唆するs, Brueckner would have had 接近 to the guest 調書をとる／予約する ledger - something that Kate McCann would go on to 表明する her 関心s over in the wake of her daughter's 見えなくなる.

In 2023, Ken wrote three letters to Scotland Yard's 操作／手術 Grange - the team 調査／捜査するing?Madeleine's 見えなくなる, which was 始める，決める up in 2011.
'Why did [my 声明] not raise a red 旗 and why [did] police fail to put two and two together to make Brueckner a 嫌疑者，容疑者／疑う in 2007, instead of 延期するing it until 2020?' he asked in one of his letters 時代遅れの August 17 last year.
'Police were aware from （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） I had given about Christian 存在 the waiter who dealt with the restaurant bookings [at the Ocean Club],' his letter also said, before 尋問 why this was not looked at その上の.

'They, like the UK can only work within the 境界s of their 内部の 法律制定.'
The 上級の 捜査官／調査官 also thanked Ken for the （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） he had 供給するd.
The British expat said he has never heard from German 捜査官／調査官s に引き続いて up on the （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） passed to them by 操作／手術 Grange.?
Ken is not the only person to have known Brueckner who has （人命などを）奪う，主張するd they were ignored when raising 関心s about the German.
Last year, it was 明らかにする／漏らすd that a German man 指名するd Helge B. approached Scotland Yard in 2008, 嫌疑者，容疑者／疑うing Brueckner's 関与.
Speaking to the German tabloid Bild, Helge said: 'I called Scotland Yard in 2008, （犯罪の）一味ing the Maddie hotline. I told them I know someone who has something to do with it and gave them his 指名する. What's more, other past friends of Brueckner's have pointed the finger at him.

Speaking to The Telegraph in 2020, Austrian Michael Tatschl - who was friends with the German since 2000 when they lived in Portugal - said he was 確かな Brueckner was the one behind Madeleine's 嫌疑者，容疑者／疑うd 誘拐.
'I know he did it,' Tatschl told the newspaper at the time.
'I was living with him at the time. He was my best friend and he was definitely a pervert and more than 有能な of snatching a child, for 性の kicks or money.
'I was sure it was him the minute the police （機の）カム to find me in Austria.
'They were very （疑いを）晴らす with me from the first minute. They said 'we are 調査／捜査するing Maddie McCann and Christian Brueckner' and I told them I knew it already.
'I was 納得させるd it was him,' Tatschl 追加するd.
And in an interview with the Mail On Sunday in 2021, Brueckner's ex-girlfriend （人命などを）奪う，主張するd he 認める 存在 の近くに to the McCann's apartment on May 3, 2007.

'I remember he made no answer to the question. After they went, I asked about Maddie as I did not know anything about her,' she said.

Speaking to The Mirror in 2020, a British ex-girlfriend of the German said Brueckner's only passion - besides cars - was making money.
'Other people get joy out of films, music, socialising, that sort of thing,' she said at the time. 'But for [Brueckner], if there was no money to be made out of something, then there was no point doing it.'
Like those who knew Brueckner from the past, Ken also believes the German was c apable of kidnapping a child - but 嫌疑者，容疑者／疑うs he did not 行為／法令／行動する alone.
He is of the belief that it was Brueckner who planned the 誘拐する, but that it was John who entered the McCann's hotel room to take her from the 訴える手段／行楽地, before the pair went to a third person's house to wait out the 初期の search 操作／手術.
However, once the group realised the マスコミ attention the 事例／患者 was getting, Ken said he 恐れるs they had no choice but to '配置する／処分する／したい気持ちにさせる' of the youngster.
'John did tell me that the child wouldn't be 害（を与える）d, so in the 支援する of my mind there's a 可能性 she could still be alive and she was sold,' he said.
'But in theory, when she was taken 支援する [to a nearby 場所], I believe she could have been 性質の／したい気がして of. When the マスコミ identified the 示す in her 注目する，もくろむ, she became a 義務／負債 in my opinion - and therefore [the group] wouldn't have been able to sell her.'

Asked whether he 悔いるs not going straight to the police after John 自白するd to him about?Brueckner's 陰謀（を企てる）, a tearful Ken told MailOnline that he does.
'I do 悔いる that, it haunts me. It haunts me. I've had many sleepless nights over it, going 支援する over it. Trying to put myself in the same position.
'I've even thought recently maybe I could go through hypnosis to see if there's something there [that I've forgotten]. I'd even be willing to do that.'
He said that if John and?Brueckner were behind?Madeleine's 誘拐, the thought of them going 解放する／自由な leaves him 'gutted'. 'I've never felt such a loss in my life,' he said.
'I feel in a way I've failed as a community 支持する／優勝者. It makes me feel awful. I've tried my best, but 事柄s 落ちる on deaf ears. I don't know what more I could have done.'
Ken said he knows that at some point, he's going to have to move on.?
'I'm just 全く astonished and shocked with it all really,' he said of the fact that there is yet to be 司法（官） for?Madeleine's 見えなくなる.
'I'm hoping this will 最終的に lead to a public enquiry. And I'm willing to …に出席する those enquiries so that the truth can be 設立するd once and for all, in the hope that Madeleine can still be 設立する - either dead or alive' he 追加するd.
Ken said his heart goes out to Kate and Gerry McCann, 'because 司法（官） has not been served at the moment. 司法（官） has failed these people.'
He also 警告するd that it is only a 事柄 of time before something else like?Madeleine's kidnapping happens again, 'because of the 量 of people hidden off-gird'.
Brueckner is 現在／一般に in 刑務所，拘置所 in Germany having been 罪人／有罪を宣告するd of 強姦, but is scheduled for 解放（する） in September 2025. It remains to be seen if he will be 正式に 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d with?Madeleine's kidnapping.
He is 現在／一般に standing 裁判，公判 in?Braunschweig,?（刑事）被告 of 強姦ing three adult women in Portugal and indecently exposing himself to two girls - 老年の ten and 11 at the time.
The 現在の 裁判，公判 started in February and has heard from 証言，証人／目撃するs who say they saw Brueckner in harrowing sex tapes which showed the 強姦 of an 年輩の woman and a young girl.?
It was also 報告（する）／憶測d earlier this month that?British police officers 伴う／関わるd in the 追跡（する） for Madeleine?will be asked to 証言する in the on-going 裁判，公判.
Brueckner's defence have tried several times to have 証言，証人／目撃するs 支配するd out 説 the 事例／患者 is 不公平な and p rejudiced against their （弁護士の）依頼人 because of the link to Madeleine.
All 試みる／企てるs have so far failed.
MailOnline reached out to the Luz Ocean Club, Scotland Yard, British police and German 検察官，検事s for comment after speaking with Ken earlier this year.
