He said: 'Since Covid the high street in Kirkby Stephen has been dead, it feels like 商売/仕事 is dying off and this is just another blow.

'It's sad to see the town like this because it used to be so much busier, even in 最近の years, and people liked to be able to go into their bank and do 商売/仕事 in person, that's just the way some prefer it.

'I think it's sad, 特に for older people who have been used to speaking to someone t hey know and 信用.

'Towns like this need a 栄えるing high street. At our end of it there was a 中心 in the old church which had a 地位,任命する office, a cafe and artisan food, but it の近くにd after the pandemic and took much of the footfall with it.'

It is a problem that is 定期的に 存在 raised in 議会. In January, a 報告(する)/憶測 published by the House of Lords 調査/捜査するd the 衝撃 such 終結s are having on the 年輩の, those living in 田舎の areas and people with disabilities.

'いつかs they just want to talk to someone 直面する to 直面する and they don't 信用 doing 商売/仕事 online, which is hardly surprising as scams are so 正規の/正選手 and can now be very 納得させるing.

'So to be able to walk into your 地元の 支店 and 会合,会う a friendly 直面する who you know and 信用 was a really 価値のある service which is now 行方不明の.

'The staff at the 支店 were very 井戸/弁護士席 liked and 信用d people, so it's also sad that they are no longer there for the community.

'The loss of the cash machine is probably the worst 面 of the 終結 for most people.

'It means that we only have one now and it is at the garage at the end of town so not very convenient and because it's so busy it often runs out of cash.

'That's 証明するd problematic for some food 商売/仕事s which operate in cash. One of the takeaways was asking people 列ing for food to do bank 移転s one evening recently because cash wasn't 利用できる.'

It is hoped that a 地位,任命する office will be 設立するd in the former Barclays building and that an ATM machine will be reinstalled at some point in the coming months.
