Speaking on?ITV's Good Morning Britain?about the 提案するd changes, Sir Keir said:?'There's a distinction between sex and gender. The 労働 Party has 支持する／優勝者d women's 権利s for a very long time.'
The 労働 leader has 繰り返して 直面するd questions about his 見解（をとる）s on transgender 問題／発行するs.
He has 以前 said that '99.9% of women' do not have a penis and in 2021 he said it was 'not 権利' for 労働 MP Rosie Duffield to 明言する／公表する that 'only women have a cervix'.

But asked about his 返答 to Ms Duffield, Sir Keir said: 'Biologically, she of course is 権利 about that.'
Asked if he would apologise to the Canterbury MP, 労働 leader Sir Keir Starmer said: 'I don't want this to go 支援する into this 有毒な place where everybody is divided.'

'As a country, we're a pretty reasonable, tolerant bunch and most people know that there are a small number of individuals who do not identify with the gender that they were born into.
'Many of them 苦しむ 広大な／多数の／重要な 苦しめる and 外傷／ショック. And for my part, I'm perfectly happy to say I would 扱う／治療する them, as I would 扱う／治療する anybody, with 尊敬（する）・点.'

Under the planned 改正s to the health service's 憲法, transgender people could be placed in a room on their own if another 患者 requests to be in a 選び出す／独身-sex 区.
This would be permitted under the Equality 行為／法令／行動する 2010 when appropriate, 'such as 尊敬（する）・点ing a 患者's wish to be in a 選び出す／独身-sex 区', によれば the Department of Health and Social Care.
In October, former health 長官 Steve Barclay said he would look into changing the 憲法 to 演説（する）／住所 関心s about trans women using 区s ーするつもりであるd for biologically 女性（の） 患者s.?
Discussing the changes, Health and Social Care 長官 Victoria Atkins said: 'We want to make it abundantly （疑いを）晴らす that if a 患者 wants same-sex care they should have 接近 to it wherever reasonably possible.
