A jealous ex-partner who 殺人d a mother of two in 前線 of her children after she broke up with him for cheating has been 刑務所，拘置所d for life with a 最小限 of 27 years.

Obert Moyo, 46, attacked Perseverance 'Percy' Ncube, 35, in her bedroom before he chased her into the street and stabbed her through the heart with a foot-long meat skewer.

Her 10-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son bravely fought off Moyo as he entered the family home in the 早期に hours of November 10 and strangled Ms Ncube, Manchester 栄冠を与える 法廷，裁判所 heard.

Seconds later the 被告 caught up with her and 配達するd a 選び出す／独身 blow to the chest with '厳しい 軍隊' which pierced her left 肺 and went through her heart.

検察官，検事 Eloise Marshall KC told Manchester 栄冠を与える 法廷，裁判所: 'The children can be heard in the background of the 999 call. One of them lays beside her in the street while the other prayed for their mother's life.'

Moyo fled the scene before he was 逮捕（する）d in Bolton later the same day, said 行方不明になる Marshall.

'Ms Ncube formed a 関係 with you in the spring of 2021, notwithstanding the advice of others who knew something about your background.

'When Ms Ncube formed a 関係 with another man in September 2023 you were 消費するd by jealousy and your behaviour 悪化するd その上の.

'This 致命的な attack took place in 前線 of her children. You then ran away leaving Perseverance Ncube to die in the street. The cries of 苦しめる and terror …を伴ってing that scene were truly awful. The 衝撃 on those children is unimaginable.

He said features of the 殺人 were 'remarkably 類似の' to the offences that led to his 2013 有罪の判決.

'He has a real problem with the break-up of 関係s. There is 明確に something in his psyche which 原因（となる）s him to behave wholly inappropriately when 関係s are brought to an end.

'It is very 利益／興味ing the 死んだ knew about his past and 許すd him into their lives and everyone gave him a chance but he succumbed to the demons that have dogged him throughout his life.'
