FERGUS EWING: My party is in real trouble if it 許すs 極端論者 fringe to dictate its next leader

Humza Yousaf, の直前に 解雇(する)ing his Green 大臣s and 終結させるing the discredited Bute House 協定 (BHA), (人命などを)奪う,主張するd the 共同 was ‘価値(がある) its 負わせる in gold’.

Most people could see that the BHA was 悲惨な, 主要な to a 一連の dud, 損失ing 政策s which cost the taxpayer and the people dearly. If it was anything, it was fools’ gold.

The 圧倒的な 大多数 of the public agree and can see that this was the root of many of Humza’s problems. SNP members too, in a 最近の opinion 投票, believed that the 取引,協定 should be ended.

But even now, John Swinney and his many 支持者s amongst my MSP and MP 同僚s still appear to believe that this was not a problem.

When a 政党 is so out of step with public opinion, it is in real trouble.

Nationalist MSP Fergus Ewing has warned that people are appalled the Greens - a ‘fringe party of extremists’ ? should still wield power over the SNP leadership debate

国家主義者 MSP Fergus Ewing has 警告するd that people are appalled the Greens - a ‘fringe party of 極端論者s’ ? should still (権力などを)行使する 力/強力にする over the SNP leadership 審議

But Kate Forbes does not subscribe to fallacious orthodoxies. She may be young, but she is not as muddle-長,率いるd as her 年上のs.

Take the trans 権利s 審議: a large 大多数 of MSPs 投票(する)d for the 法律 that 16-year-olds can change gender at will.

But the public did not agree. Opinion 投票s 設立する two-thirds of people …に反対するd self-ID without the 現在の checks designed to 保護する youngsters who may change gender then 悔いる it later.

Kate sees the 緊急の need to reset our politics to 供給する fresh hope and to 焦点(を合わせる) on competent 政府; the 圧力(をかける)ing need to spend our time in 政府 working with 商売/仕事 to build 経済的な success and 繁栄 over a period of ten years, not just a short 称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語 直す/買収する,八百長をする. In doing so, we are better able to 基金 public services.

What has not been について言及するd much in this leadership 審議 is another serious problem 直面するing the party.

While the BHA is 正式に over, its consequences will, unless there is a 根底となる change in direction, continue to 損失 the country for years to come.

For example, the Heat in Buildings 法案 will 課す 合法的な 義務s on homeowners over energy efficiency 基準s and 取り付け・設備 of decarbonised heating.

What happens if either or both cannot be afforded, and cannot in practice be 達成するd without inordinate cost??

The homes 伴う/関わるd will become unmortga geable. 貸す人s won’t lend on homes which 違反 the 法律.

同様に as 原因(となる)ing mayhem and 悲惨 to thousands of hard-working Scots who can’t sell their homes, this will, in the 見解(をとる) of 上級の banking and 所有物/資産/財産 専門家s I have worked with, lead to Scotland 存在 再評価するd as a mortgage market by 貸す人s.

They may then 始める,決める higher 利益/興味 率s here than in the 残り/休憩(する) of the UK as our houses will be seen as of higher 危険, and the chances of default will also 増加する.

It is 驚くべき/特命の/臨時の that the 最高の,を越す civil servants have 明らかに not 警告するd 大臣s of these 危険s. I worked as a solicitor in 所有物/資産/財産 for 20 years. These consequences are foreseeable and 必然的な.

A raft of 法律制定 for 田舎の Scotland on deer 管理/経営, land 改革(する) and other 事柄s will also 原因(となる) その上の 衝突, 緊張 and political trouble.

I would lay good money on some of this 法律制定 存在 in 違反 of the European 条約 on Human 権利s 法律制定 too.

This 政府 has lost 法廷,裁判所 活動/戦闘 after 法廷,裁判所 活動/戦闘.

When I was a 大臣 serving under John Swinney it was made 全く (疑いを)晴らす to me that we must not lose judicial reviews, because it would 損失 the 評判 of the Scottish 政府.

He was 権利 then. It looks as though he is wrong now.

I 直面するd about five main judicial reviews. We did not lose one. I (警官の)巡回区域,受持ち区域 Donald Trump and the RSPB. I’m still not sure which victory gave me the most 楽しみ.

The 禁止(する) on 支持を得ようと努めるd stoves for new builds is now in place ? but 専門家s cannot 解釈する/通訳する the 支配するs nor understand their 衝撃.

Ironically, in Sweden if one has a home with a heat pump, 力/強力にするd of course by electricity, it is 義務的な to have a 支持を得ようと努めるd stove for outages. In Sweden it is 違法な not to have one.

Here in Scotland, it will be 違法な for new homes to 任命する/導入する one. Aren’t the Swedes 主要な the way in green 政策s?

So, even though Humza has 配達するd a belated 別れの(言葉,会) to his Green 大臣の 二人組, their 影響(力) ぐずぐず残るs on and will do so for the 残り/休憩(する) of this Holyrood 称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語 until 2026, should we get that far.

The green tail has been 許すd to wag the dog for too long.

Last week, it was ドッキングする/減らす/ドックに入れるd. But this week, it has re-現れるd as a 肉親,親類d of phantom 四肢.

I について言及する these things because if John Swinney is to 部隊 議会, as all his 支持者s (人命などを)奪う,主張する he is 確かな to do, will we not be left with a de facto BHA in 軍隊?

A 肉親,親類d of Scottish Green Frankenstein? Or will he get 負かす/撃墜する to the serious 商売/仕事 of hard work with the other main parties to 修正する or 捨てる all these daft, 損失ing 政策s ? which may be 違法な, certainly impractical, and usually unaffordable?

We just don’t know. But thus far, he remains in thrall to the Green 実験. Indeed, Green MSP Ross Greer was so struck by working with John he 明らかに called him ‘my work daddy’.?

While the Greens may be out of 政府, do they still have an 効果的な 拒否権 on the choice of the next First 大臣?

If the 推論する/理由 we must choose ‘Honest John’ is because the Greens will support him, and that we must not support Kate Forbes because the Greens don’t based on her 宗教的な beliefs, have we 手渡すd them the pen to undersign their preferred 候補者 as leader of the country?

That point is one that many are already making to me. Folk do not like it at all.?

They are 権利. People are appalled a fringe party of 極端論者s should continue to wi eld such 力/強力にする and 影響(力), albeit because the SNP leadership choose to 産する/生じる it to them.
