Harley Whiteman, 19, was 運動ing the?Ford Fiesta that 攻撃する,衝突する Kaylan at around 6.15pm on February 29, as the boy was standing outside a?Co-op 蓄える/店 with his friends.?

Kaylan never 回復するd consciousness にもかかわらず the 成果/努力s of those at the scene after the 被告 drove off at 速度(を上げる).

A 宣告,判決ing 審理,公聴会 at Merthyr Tydfil 栄冠を与える 法廷,裁判所 has heard Kaylan and three of his friends were seen on CCTV standing outside the Co-op 蓄える/店. He was wearing a light blue-grey hoodie and his hood was up.

Kaylan's friends noticed a Ford Fiesta travelling at 速度(を上げる), with some 証言,証人/目撃するs 見積(る)ing the 乗り物 was travelling between 40mph and 60mph.?

A Citroen car was travelling in the opposite direction with parked cars 原因(となる)ing a 狭くする gap. But?Whiteman tried to squeeze through, swerving to the left and the 権利 in an 試みる/企てる to 避ける the oncoming car.

検察官,検事 Julia Cox said Whiteman's car went up の上に the kerb and 攻撃する,衝突する Kaylan with the nearside of the Fiesta.?

Whiteman then drove 支援する to his home nearby and his two 乗客s got out of the car and returned to the scene of the 衝突/不一致, and he made his way there すぐに after.?

A student nurse was 成し遂げるing CPR on Kaylan when the 被告 tried to 妨げる her. He said: 'Do you think I give a f*** about this kid on the 床に打ち倒す? Why the f*** don't you all just leave him and stop doing that.'

Bystanders tried to move Whiteman away as he became agitated and shouted at a man who asked him about his car. He 答える/応じるd: 'I don't know what you're talking about... I 港/避難所't got a car, I don't even 運動.' The 被告 also 申し込む/申し出d a man a fight as Kaylan lay dying in the road.

Police …に出席するd and Whiteman had to be 抑制するd as he was 逮捕(する)d, with police believing him to be extr emely intoxicated.?

Ms Cox said the 被告 was abusive に向かって police and members of the public, and showed no 悔恨 for his 活動/戦闘s, 説: 'It was a f****** good show.'?

He lived with his grandmother Kay Hippsley, and lost his father at the age of six. He enjoyed playing with friends in the vill age and in the YMCA. Kaylan was 述べるd as a 'cheeky chappie' who was 'polite, creative and lovely'.

'No real 司法(官) can be served today. Harley Whiteman has taken something from our family that can never be given 支援する. We live in 恐れる we will have to pass him in the street but we hope it will be a long time before we have to を取り引きする this.

'Now I have to 直面する grief and carry this alone [...] I was hoping to start 雇用 but this is 近づく impossible because I'm 絶えず anxious and depressed [...] I can't pass the place he was killed, I cannot be in hospital settings, I 恐れる cars 運動ing too 急速な/放蕩な and don't want to be in a car myself.

'I cannot be alone, when I am, my mind is 100 miles an hour. I have spent weeks sleeping in my mother's bed with her, I've lost my appetite and cannot sleep. Every time I の近くに my 注目する,もくろむs I see my brother's dead 団体/死体.?

I felt 犯罪 as if I was abandoning him and at the funeral I had to be pulled from there by my family.?

'My grief is 窒息させるing and I feel so alone I can't breathe. I feel 有罪の to be happy and question myself every day why Kaylan? Why a young boy who has done nothing wrong? Why not me? I wish it was me, I often wish I wasn't here anymore.

'Kaylan was not killed in a 悲劇の 事故, it wasn't until someone took him from us, someone was to 非難する and is responsible which makes it so much worse. That person is you (演説(する)/住所ing Whiteman).

'You killed my 13-year-old brother who had his whole life ahead of him in the most dangerous 状況/情勢, 運動ing whilst under the 影響(力) with 乗客s in the car. You have shown no 悔恨.?

'You 廃虚d far more than one life and as a result you deserve to 直面する the consequences for that.'

In her 声明, Kaylan's grandmother Kay Hippsley said: 'Every time I leave the house since this happened, the 活動/戦闘s of Harley Whiteman changed my life and will never be the same again. He's not only taken my grandson from me, he's 廃虚d a multitude of lives. Kaylan (機の)カム to live with me eight years ago which was a 抱擁する 請け負うing in my 60s and I have 厳しい rheumatoid arthritis. We lost his dad and my son six years ago.?

'Having him with me got me through the grief and brought moments of joy to my life. He was a 13-year-old boy who will never have the chance to live the life he deserves. To receive a call to say Kaylan had been 攻撃する,衝突する by a car was horrendous and everything changed from then on.

'I am unable to go home to the family home. I have only been out to the hospital and Kaylan's funeral. I feel 同様に Kaylan's life ending 未熟に 地雷 has too. I have no 目的 to my life and I don't know how I will carry on.?

'I am so angry and devastat ed, I cannot put into words how this has 影響する/感情d my life and family. I cannot live with this or find it in my heart to 許す Harley Whiteman. This will be a small 一時期/支部 in his life but Kaylan's life is over and our family will carry the grief and heartache to our dying days.'

Whiteman, of Cae Felin Parc, Hirwaun, pleaded 有罪の to 原因(となる)ing death by dangerous 運動ing and failing to 供給する a 見本/標本. The 法廷,裁判所 heard he was of previous good character.?

In mitigation, James Hartson said his (弁護士の)依頼人 was unable to 供給する an explanation for his 活動/戦闘s at the scene of the 衝突/不一致, and was 'shocked, disorientated and panicked'. The barrister said the 被告's 悔いる will live for him for the 残り/休憩(する) of his life, and he had lost his own father at the age of five.

'At the scene your behaviour was abhorrent and heartless, and when 逮捕(する)d you were 積極的な, unruly and unrepentant.

'Anyone who commits such a dreadful offence such as this is committing an offence too serious to be dealt with by anything other than an 即座の custodial 宣告,判決.'

Whiteman was 宣告,判決d to six years and nine months 拘留,拘置 in a young 違反者/犯罪者s' 学校/設ける. He was disqualified from 運動ing for a period of eight years and four months.
