The 法廷,裁判所 of 控訴,上告 heard this morning that Valdo Calocane should have his 'unduly lenient' 不明確な/無期限の hospital order changed to one of life 監禁,拘置 に引き続いて a referral from the 司法長官.

The families of Grace O'Malley Kumar and Barnaby Webber, both 19, and school 管理人 Ian Coates, 65, argued that it was the only way to 確実にする he is punished for his 罪,犯罪s and 妨げるd from 害(を与える)ing the public again.

Speaking outside the 法廷,裁判所, Barnaby Webber's mother Emma said she recognised that her son's 殺し屋 was unwell but he was not 存在 適切に held culpable.

'The penal element is what's 行方不明の,' she said.

Mrs Barnaby Webber 追加するd: 'The 統計(学) show that 87 per cent [of 違反者/犯罪者s given a hospital or der] are out within ten years and 98 per cent were out in 20 years - so he'd be 52.

But Peter Joyce KC, for Calocane, said the attacks all took place while he was under the 影響(力) of psychosis he could do nothing about, and to change the 宣告,判決 would be to 'punish mental illness'.

'He didn't 原因(となる) it to happen to him by taking 麻薬s, he didn't 原因(となる) it to happen to him by his own behaviour and he didn't 原因(となる) it to happen to him by taking alcohol,' he said.

Mr Joyce 追加するd: 'He (機の)カム to believe he was 存在 controlled by outside 軍隊s and he hated it.
