'We used a lot of online 会議s to help us - we would watch YouTube ビデオs too.

'He would lean on friends and family to help us out and ask advice on how to approach 状況/情勢s.

'It is a bit of a myriad of 研究 on the internet and asking friends.

'We put our heart and soul into the house - the fact that we did a lot of the 革新 ourselves makes our home really special.

'The main house 革新 took us around six years as we did most of the work ourselves.

'We fully 完全にするd the 革新 last year, finishing off the garden - nine years after we 初めは bought the house.'

After buying the 所有物/資産/財産 in June 2014, the couple moved in six months later to start gutting it.

Phil and Lizzy 最初 lived i n two bedrooms whilst the 革新 work was going on around them.

Lizzy said: 'We 始める,決める the 前線 room up as our bedroom and then we had a 支援する bedroom that we used as a living room.

'Everywhere else we were doing work on - we lived in those rooms for a year.

'We didn't have a 支援する of the house for a year either as we were building the 拡張.'

When they bought the 所有物/資産/財産 it had four bedrooms. Phil and Lizzy 延長するd the 所有物/資産/財産 to make the bedrooms larger and 変えるd the garage - 追加するing four extra rooms.

Lizzy said: 'It is not the same house that we bought, we re-plumbed, we 追加するd a two-storey 後部 拡張 with the 隣人s.

'We were able to 延長する the 足跡 of the house, going 支援する into the garden.

'We 変えるd the garage into four rooms that we use as a 公共事業(料金)/有用性 room, 洗面所, 熟考する/考慮する and boot room.

'We went 負かす/撃墜する a bit too, underneath the house was just a 無効の that was used for 貯蔵.

'We 回復するd that space and now you step into our kitchen area.'

'That is another 推論する/理由 why it has taken us so long as we did not have 抱擁する reserves.

'It has been a hard slog but we love it.'

Lizzy says her favourite room in the house is the kitchen and enjoys the 'quirky' features in the home - 含むing a 'hangover (法廷の)裁判' to sit in the にわか雨 and a TV in the bathroom.
