Dan Walker has said the BBC made a 'mistake' in the way it covered the Duke of Edinburgh's death, 宣言するing 'you can't 軍隊 grief upon a nation'.

The former BBC Breakfast host said it made an error by broadcasting the same 生産（高） about Prince Philip's death on BBC1 and BBC2 同時に.

The pair were on 無線で通信する 4's The マスコミ Show this week to discuss 王室の ニュース報道. Mr Walker, 45, who starts his new 職業 as Channel 5 news presenter next week, said when he rehearsed ニュース報道 for 王室の deaths at the BBC, he 示唆するd that the トン went 'too far' in 存在 deferential.

He said: 'I feel that you could 自然に show that a story is difficult to talk about, is sad, is of 国家の, international importance, without going too far.'
