The used car market 増加するd by 6.5 per cent in the first ４半期/4分の1 of the year, with sales of over 1.9 million 乗り物s, new 人物／姿／数字s show.

It makes this the strongest start to a year for second-手渡す モーター sales since pre-pandemic 2019, 確認するd the Society of モーター 製造業者s and 仲買人s (SMMT).

The used car market has seen 16 months of 連続した growth, which is thanks to new model 供給（する）s returning to 十分な 配達／演説／出産 capacity, meaning more are starting to filter into second-手渡す 売買業者s and prices are 軟化するing from 記録，記録的な／記録する high levels seen in the years に引き続いて the pandemic.

Used electric 乗り物 処理／取引s are also on the up.

The SMMT's stats show that between January 1 and April 30 some 41,505 EVs changed 手渡すs, which is a 71 per cent 増加する on the same period in 2023.

Sales of used hybrids (HEVs) and plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) also 増加するd by 49.3 per cent and 42.5 per cent それぞれ.

However, it is still 従来の 内部の 燃焼 engines (ICE) that 支配する, with sales of 石油 cars rising 7.7 per cent to 1,130,396 部隊s in the four-month period.

自動車 仲買人, the UK's biggest second-手渡す car marketplace, says 普通の／平均（する） used モーター prices in April rose marginally by 1.1 per cent during the month but are still?9.3 per cent 負かす／撃墜する on April 2023.

Richard Walker, the company's data and insights director, said: 'Even though prices remain 負かす／撃墜する year-on-year, April’s data shows the very 強健な underlying health of the used car market.'

Richard Peberdy, UK 長，率いる of 自動推進の for KPMG, says used 乗り物?在庫／株 容積／容量s have been 上げるd by (n)艦隊／(a)素早いs selling 乗り物s into the market, having updated their 在庫.

'消費者s are seeing a wider 範囲 of 乗り物 choices than in 最近の years, albeit still below pre-pandemic 容積／容量s.
