But new data from Carwow recently 設立する that almost a third (30 per cent) of Scottish 運転者s are not sure they understand LEZ 支配するs and almost half (45 per cent) don't know where the 現在の LEZs are operating.

People can enter their 乗り物 登録 number on the 公式の/役人 website for Scotland's Low 放出/発行 Zones to 確認する if their 乗り物 will 従う.

罰金s across the four Scottish cities (and Scotland as a whole) are 一貫した, with 非,不,無-compliant 乗り物s entering a LEZ 存在 攻撃する,衝突する with a £60 罰金.

Why Low 放出/発行 Zones??

会議s introducing LEZs are wanting to 改善する 空気/公表する 質 - helping Sco tland reach its 気候 Change 的s by 減ずるing road 輸送(する)'s 出資/貢献 to 放出/発行s and 保護するing public health and wellbeing - 同様に as 'prioritising active and 維持できる 輸送(する)'.

Other 明言する/公表するd 利益s 含む creating vibrant, accessible and 安全な city centre, and making cities like Glasgow 望ましい places to live, visit and 投資する.

議員 Angus Millar, the SNP convener for 気候 and 輸送(する) in Glasgow, commented last June: '拡大するing the reach of the LEZ to 含む all 乗り物s is an important milestone in 確実にするing cleaner 空気/公表する for Glasgow - 演説(する)/住所ing levels and 集中s of 空気/公表する 汚染 which have remained stubbornly high in the city centre in 違反 of the 合法的な 限界s.

Carwow's 最近の findings also showed that while the 大多数?(52 per cent) of Scottish drivers support this 感情, and LEZs, and think electric 乗り物s (EVs) are the 未来, most (53 per cent) think now is the 'wrong time' to introduce new LEZ or 拡大する 現在の ones.

The 欠如(する) of support for the 来たるべき introduction isn't 予定 to 欠如(する) of 乗り気, but rather 関心 over the cost.

The 大多数 (54 per cent) of Scottish drivers say they'd like to own an EV in the 未来 - and 6 per cent would switch now if they could ? but can't afford to.

Of those Scots who 現在/一般に own a 非,不,無-LEZ compliant 乗り物, a third (33 per cent) say they cannot afford to 昇格.
