Harry and Meghan's story is 十分な of contradictions, yet Omid Scobie has weaponised it all over again, 令状s RICHARD KAY

Most of us will never know how it feels to be 公然と 指名するd as a 人種差別主義者. It is a word so 負担d that it can destroy a 評判 夜通し.

When it is uttered of an 完全に innocent public 人物/姿/数字 ? or 人物/姿/数字s ? and, 経由で the click of a computer mouse, goes viral, the repercussions can be even more 負傷させるing and infinitely more 損失ing.

These were the consequences yesterday as it 現れるd that an international 版 of Omid Scobie's 挑発的な 調書をとる/予約する about the 君主国 指名するd not one, but two, いわゆる '王室の 人種差別主義者s'. Panicking publishers ordered the Dutch 見解/翻訳/版 to be pulled from 棚上げにするs ? but by then the 身元s of the 人物/姿/数字s had already been 広まる 広範囲にわたって on social マスコミ.

With Buckingham Palace 持続するing its icy disdain for every 面 of Scobie's 調書をとる/予約する, a 非難する-game 爆発するd over how such an egregious error had been committed. At the same time, 王室の friends of the two individuals 解任するd the (人命などを)奪う,主張するs against them as 'reprehensible'.

Perhaps even more mischievous is why the 主張s of 人種差別主義, first broadcast in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's 悪名高い interview with US 雑談(する) show host Oprah Winfrey in 2021, have been 生き返らせるd nearly three years later.?

Meghan was adamant that questions about her son Archie's complexion were motivated by ugly racism

Meghan was 毅然とした that questions about her son Archie's complexion were 動機づけるd by ugly 人種差別主義

It emerged that an international edition of Omid Scobie's provocative book about the monarchy named not one, but two, so-called 'royal racists'

It 現れるd that an international 版 of Omid Scobie's 挑発的な 調書をとる/予約する about the 君主国 指名するd not one, but two, いわゆる '王室の 人種差別主義者s'

Scobie devotes many pages of his book to what he claims is Britain's 'racist' underbelly

Scobie 充てるs many pages of his 調書をとる/予約する to what he (人命などを)奪う,主張するs is Britain's '人種差別主義者' underbelly

What is 否定できない, however, is that the 指名するing of the two people is the 最新の 新たな展開 in an unsavoury saga that began under the California sun and (名声などを)汚すd the last years of the late Queen Elizabeth's 統治する. The comments Meghan made that day started a chain reaction that shows no 調印する of ending. At the time, her (人命などを)奪う,主張するs that a member of the 王室の Family had 表明するd 関心s about 'how dark' the 肌 of their unborn children might be 誘発する/引き起こすd a 嵐/襲撃する of 全世界の 乱暴/暴力を加える and some of the worst headlines the 王室のs had 耐えるd for years.

Neither she nor Prince Harry were 用意が出来ている to identify who was 関心d, loftily professing it would be 'too 損失ing to them' while i gnoring the fact that not doing so was 平等に harmful.

Indeed, such was the reaction in the wake of the broadcast that Ms Winfrey 明らかにする/漏らすd that Harry had asked her to make (疑いを)晴らす that 批評 was not 目的(とする)d at either of his grandparents, the Queen and Prince Philip.

Far from damping 負かす/撃墜する the conflagration they had started, this sent 憶測 急に上がるing as 告訴,告発s were 投げつけるd at 上級の 王室のs unable to defend themselves.

In the light of the 列/漕ぐ/騒動 this week, just what happened during the Oprah interview ? and subsequently ? is 決定的な.

Meghan was 毅然とした that questions about her son Archie's complexion were 動機づけるd by ugly 人種差別主義 (as …に反対するd to, say, curiosity). At one point Ms Winfrey put it to her that 'they were 関心d that if he were too brown that would be a problem'.

A more forensic interviewer than Ms Winfrey might have queried these obvious inconsistencies. For while both Harry and Meghan were 'speaking their truth', they can't both have been right

We can only speculate as to Scobie's motivations for launching such a vicious attack on the Royal Family

The duchess 答える/応じるd: 'If that's the 仮定/引き受けること you are making, I think that feels like a pretty 安全な one.'

A visibly shocked Ms Winfrey 答える/応じるd: 'What? Who is having that conversation with you?' 'There were several conversations about it', Meghan said, which took place 'in those months when I was 妊娠している'. Ms Winfrey asked: 'There's a conversation with you?' To which Meghan interjected: 'With Harry.' When the prince joins the interview, his 解任する about the 事柄 is markedly different. He 持続するd there was just one conversation '権利 at the beginning' of their 関係, 'before we even got married.'

Asked to 指名する 指名するs, Harry answered: 'That conversation , I'm never going to 株.'

A more 法廷の interviewer than Ms Winfrey might have queried these obvious inconsistencies. For while both Harry and Meghan were 'speaking their truth', they can't both have been 権利.

But within days this most 爆発性の of (人命などを)奪う,主張するs was not just 存在 questioned, but unravelling.

In a telling 介入, the Queen sought to diffuse 敵意s by 公式文書,認めるing that 'recollections' of what happened 'may 変化させる.' 個人として the 王室の Family 嘆き悲しむd the couple's comments. And two days later Prince William made their thinking very (疑いを)晴らす. 'We are very much not a 人種差別主義者 family,' he told a TV reporter.

This derisive 介入 (機の)カム まっただ中に 報告(する)/憶測s that the Palace was 'reeling' over what were 述べるd as '有毒な 告訴,告発s.' 行動主義者s piled in. One, Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu, wrote that 人種差別主義 had become 'so normalised' in Britain that 'white people are able to ignore what is blatantly 人種差別主義者 in 前線 of them. People will watch the Oprah interview, listen to 関心s a member of the 王室の Family had over the colour of Archie's 肌, and still 否定する that it's 人種差別主義.'

Others ridiculed the (人命などを)奪う,主張するs. Jonathan Dimbleby, 尊敬(する)・点d 伝記作家 of the then Prince of むちの跡s said of Charles: 'He is someone whose professional personal life has been 献身的な to bringing people together, not pulling them apart.'

In woke America, however, the Sussexes were lionised. A year ago, at a glamorous charity event in New York they 喜んで 受託するd an award for their 'heroic' 成果/努力s standing up to '構造上の 人種差別主義'.

And yet when they had a chance to 拡大する on their (人命などを)奪う,主張するs soon after, they curiously chose not to.

The 悪名高い episode was inexplicably absent from Harr y's best-selling memoir Spare. Nor did it feature in that toe-curling six-part Netflix 文書の which just に先行するd 出版(物) of his 調書をとる/予約する.

Kate is described as 'cold', a 'Stepford-like royal wife', while claiming her willingness to support the institution into which she has married has earned her the cruel nickname 'Katie Keen' in Scobie's book

Kate is 述べるd as '冷淡な', a 'Stepford-like 王室の wife', while (人命などを)奪う,主張するing her 乗り気 to support the 会・原則 into which she has married has earned her the cruel 愛称 'Katie Keen' in Scobie's 調書をとる/予約する

It is baffling why the prince did not shed その上の light on this 申し立てられた/疑わしい 出来事/事件. He could at the very least, surely, have explained why (in 明らかな contradiction of his wife's 見解/翻訳/版 of events) he told Ms Winfrey there was just one conversation about their 未来 children's 肌 colour 'before we were even married'.

ITV's Tom Bradby broached the 支配する during an interview, ahead of Spare's 出版(物). The 新聞記者/雑誌記者 asked: 'In the Oprah interview you (刑事)被告 the 王室の Family of 人種差別主義. Harry shook his 長,率いる and said: 'No, I didn't', 追加するing: 'the British 圧力(をかける) said that'.

やめる how he squared that (人命などを)奪う,主張する with his 決定/判定勝ち(する) to 受託する the Ripple of Hope award for their work in 促進するing racial 不正 is, 式のs, anyone's guess.

So why now has the whole 問題/発行する blown up again? Even Scobie was surprised that 'this 抱擁する 主張' didn't come up in the Netflix series or in Spare. Scobie, who 充てるs many pages of his 調書をとる/予約する to what he (人命などを)奪う,主張するs is Britain's '人種差別主義者' underbelly, is happy to (問題を)取り上げる the 責任/義務.

'You don't have to dig 深い into those 面s of UK life to 明らかにする some 人種差別主義者 roots 地位,任命する-Brexit,' he 令状s. And his 証拠? 'The mawkish Union Jack and St George's Cross 旗-waving often conjures up a yearning fo r the golden age of empire.'

Happily, he is able to fill in some of the gaps in the to-ing and fro-ing over the Sussexes' 人種差別主義 (人命などを)奪う,主張するs. And guess what? Suddenly there is not one 王室の 人種差別主義者 but two, his 焦点(を合わせる) alighted on letters 交流d between Meghan and her father-in-法律 in the 影響 of the Oprah interview.

Neither she nor Prince Harry were prepared to identify who was concerned, loftily professing it would be 'too damaging to them' while ignoring the fact that not doing so was equally harmful

Details were scant, but Scobie confidently writes: 'In the pages of these

詳細(に述べる)s were scant, but Scobie confidently 令状s: 'In the pages of these 私的な letters, two 身元s were 明らかにする/漏らすd. 法律s in the 部隊d Kingdom 妨げる me from 報告(する)/憶測ing who they were'

He 引用するs sources as 説 that the King 手配中の,お尋ね者 to make (疑いを)晴らす to Meghan that there was 'no ill will or casual prejudice 現在の when the two people had spoken about his 未来 grandson.'

によれば an 'insider' Charles 手配中の,お尋ね者 to '(疑いを)晴らす up something he felt 堅固に about.' 一方/合間, Meghan's 関心 was the 'way in which these conversations [about Archie's 肌 トン] had… 明らかにする/漏らすd ぐずぐず残る unconscious bias and ignorance within the family that needed to be 演説(する)/住所d.'

We can only 推測する as to Scobie's 動機づけs for 開始する,打ち上げるing such a vicious attack on the 王室の Family.

What remains very curious is that, considering his 承認 that the 法律s of 名誉き損 would 妨げる the two 指名するs 存在 published, in Holland, at least, that is 正確に/まさに what happened.
