RICHARD KAY: These venomous attacks look bound to 消す out any chances of 仲直り between Harry and William - As Omid Scobie's 調書をとる/予約する is 解放(する)d, a friend of the Prince of むちの跡s says his brother must now 'very 公然と distance himself from this'
Until this week, it was just possible to imagine a 親善 of sorts. Not the warm brotherly affection of old, of course, but a 承認 that the best way to 安全な・保証する the 未来 of the 君主国 lay in reconciling William and Harry.
There had been talk, admittedly unconfirmed, that Harry and Meghan might be asked to spend part of the Christmas holiday with the 王室の Family. And the word from California was that if such an 招待 was 来たるべき the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be minded to 受託する.
How hollow all that soothing talk sounds today with the 出版(物) of Omid Scobie's 最新の biography of the 王室のs in which he turns his malicious attention on the Princess of むちの跡s.
In a thinly 隠すd but venomous attack, he 述べるs the princess as '冷淡な', a 'Stepford-like 王室の wife', while (人命などを)奪う,主張するing her 乗り気 to support the 会・原則 into which she has married has earned her the cruel 愛称 'Katie Keen'.
In the same breath, he 告発する/非難するs the mother of three of 存在 a 'part-time working 王室の' compared with the number of 義務s carried out by other members of the family.

Kate is 述べるd as '冷淡な', a 'Stepford-like 王室の wife', while (人命などを)奪う,主張するing her 乗り気 to support the 会・原則 into which she has married has earned her the cruel 愛称 'Katie Keen'
He also lambasts her for '支持するing for mental health 原因(となる)s while ignoring Meghan's cries for help'. It is not difficult to imagine how Prince William will 反応する to this hatchet-職業 and 厳しい depiction of his wife. Indeed, how would any husband 答える/応じる to such demonstrably 不公平な (人命などを)奪う,主張するs?
Far from 捜し出すing a fraternal 仲直り, such (人命などを)奪う,主張するs from his sister-in-法律's cheerleader-in-長,指導者 that his grandmother, the late Queen, liked Kate because she was 'coachable', unlike the 'strong-minded' Princess Diana, can only 深くする the 不和 between the brothers.
Not only does this impugn the 評判 of Kate, who almost 選び出す/独身d-handedly has 回復するd the good 指名する of the House of Windsor in the wake of the 危機 precipitated by the Sussexes' petulant Megxit, it 同時に 侮辱s his mother too.
If there is any なぐさみ to be had from this lazy, one-味方するd 見解/翻訳/版 of 最近の 王室の history it is that the portrait painted of the princess is so at 半端物s with the facts.
Here is a woman who, in fact, behaves like a textbook 王室の. She does not show off, she is 控えめの, she does not complain. When she 成し遂げるs often tedious public 約束/交戦s she does so with 宙に浮く and a dazzling smile that gives every 外見 of enthusiasm. She is also, thanks to her しつけ, relatable.
Kate instinctively understands that image and image-making is crucially important in the 商売/仕事 of defining 君主国 and spreading it around the world as an ideal.
Scobie scoffs at all that. To him the princess 'glides under the レーダ' because she's 'never challenged the system with public struggles or oversized aspirations'. Instead, she is 'comfortable in her 役割' and has a 乗り気 to bring 'the requisite smile and elegance to her 義務s as princess', while not 存在 known for 'leadership' or an '去っていく/社交的な nature'.
Meghan, 自然に, is the polar opposite. He 示唆するs she was 'the new Diana' after marrying Harry, a (人命などを)奪う,主張する so wild it barely deserves serious examination.
For William, the 問題/発行する is Mr Scobie's past 役割 as a mouthpiece for the duke and duchess. In interviews the author has 主張するd he is not their friend, and he has not interviewed them for the 調書をとる/予約する.
What the prince wants to know about Endgame, which is published today, is whether these sour attacks have come 直接/まっすぐに from within Harry and Meghan's circle. p>
Omid Scobie's new 調書をとる/予約する Endgame about the 王室の Family is 始める,決める to be 解放(する)d tomorrow

William, Harry, Meghan and Charles speak together at Westminster Abbey in March 2019
As one of William's friends, who was also once の近くに to Harry, told me last night: 'It is a 事柄 of 信用. The challenge should be for Prince Harry to very 公然と distance himself from this.'
Even then few believe the once の近くに 関係 between the two can ever be 海難救助d.
How long ago it now seems when Harry was as の近くに to Kate as he was to William, a relaxed trio delighting the world. The two princes were hardly the first brothers to have a の近くに friendship 分裂(する) by marriage. The 悲劇 is that before Meghan (機の)カム along, Harry was the very essence of a popular 21st-century prince. He was what every romantic 推定する/予想するd a dutiful young 王室の to be ? not only a 勇敢に立ち向かう 兵士, but someone who could laugh easily at himself.
Indeed, laughter …を伴ってd him everywhere he went.
Meghan's arrival in his life changed everything. But was this her fault, or was it 負かす/撃墜する to Harry's 不確定 over how best to bring an opinionated Hollywood 人物/姿/数字 into the 制限する and 高度に controlled world of 王室の life?
Meghan, remember, had become accustomed to floating in public her 見解(をとる)s on everything from 気候 change and human 権利s to clean water and gender equality.
This became manifestly (疑いを)晴らす on the one occasion when the いわゆる 'fab four' of William, Kate, Meghan and Harry were on 行う/開催する/段階 促進するing their 長,率いるs Together mental 福利事業 charity, and the Duchess of Sussex 自然に 支配するd the microphone.
There was an 空気/公表する of 不快 about William and Kate as they listened. Here was a young woman making it plain that her new 王室の status was something to be used so that her 発言する/表明する could be heard ? an unknown philosophy in 王室の life.
At that moment, the silent Kate beside her looked almost dull. In truth, all Kate was doing was に引き続いて a 議定書 that has kept the 王室の Family in 商売/仕事 for 世代s.
The 悲劇 is that Endgame looks bound to 消す out those わずかな/ほっそりした chances of 王室の 仲直り. Instead, 2023 looks like it will end as it began when Harry's own 調書をとる/予約する 開始する,打ち上げるd an angry fusilade against his family.
