BORIS JOHNSON:?Wokery is 損失ing the West - and nothing illustrates that better than this absurd '王室の 人種差別主義' hoo-ha whipped up by a tripe-monger

支持を得ようと努める! Shock horror. It’s the 最新の スキャンダル to 激しく揺する the 王室のs, and it’s turning into a humongous whodunnit.

Someone is 申し立てられた/疑わしい to have said something about the possible physical 外見 of a still unborn princeling ― the son of Harry and Meghan ― and the world is 存在 whipped into an ecstasy of confected indignation.

In Holland, the 指名する of the いわゆる 犯人 has appeared, accidentally-on-目的, in the Dutch-language 見解/翻訳/版 of a new 調書をとる/予約する of 王室の tripe-mongering, and a terrific 戦う/戦い has been joined in the UK マスコミ.

Do we have the 権利 to 指名する the 王室の ‘人種差別主義者’? Can the British public be told the truth about the blue-血d ?blunderer who blurted something about 王室の baby Archie?

Can you 扱う it?

You know what ― I neither know nor care. I don’t give a monkey’s who said something about the possible genetic 相続物件 of the 差し迫った arrival of a child standing umpteenth in line to the 王位, because I don’t think any such 憶測 is remotely 人種差別主義者.

Someone is alleged to have said something about the possible physical appearance of a then-unborn princeling ― Archie, the son of Harry and Meghan, writes BORIS JOHNSON

Why the epic hoo-ha? Well, I suppose that it is partly because it is intended to be a hoo-ha, not least by the tripe-mongering author Omid Scobie (pictured)

To ask such questions, in 予期 of a happy event, is simple human nature.

It is one of the greatest joys and ?mysteries of life that we have no real idea, in utero, what our children will look like.

We can see their 形態/調整s in the amazing antenatal ざっと目を通すs, and we can hear the heartbeats; but for all the heart-stopping 詳細(に述べる) of the images, the fingers, the toes, the thumb in the mouth, they are still tantalising. We can’t be sure what traits, if any, the 幼児s will visibly 相続する.

Every family is the same. As soon as a baby is born, and with every week that passes, we pore over them ― searching pathetically for 調印するs of family 連続. Whose nose is this? Whose 注目する,もくろむs? And what is the origin of this ?mysterious aubergine-coloured hair?

My own children have all sorts of exciting antecedents ― Indians, ロシアのs, Turks, you 指名する it.

I am myself so fair that I have been (刑事)被告 (誤って, I 保証する you) of 苦しむing from a 肉親,親類d of albinism. So of course I have mused in the past ― probably aloud ― about which 始める,決める of ?染色体s was going to get the upper 手渡す this time, or which 遺伝子 was going to be 支配的な and which recessive.

That, I 推定する/予想する, was 正確に/まさに the 肉親,親類d of ruminative 審議 that the いわゆる 王室の 人種差別主義者 was having. It was an 完全に innocent and utterly normal antepartum meditation of a 肉親,親類d that takes place whenever a family is 推定する/予想するing a baby.

So why the epic hoo-ha? 井戸/弁護士席, I suppose that it is partly because it is ーするつもりであるd to be a hoo-ha, not least by the tripe-mongering author.

Despite Harry and Meghan's claims on Oprah, there has been no transgression, no sin against 21st-century v
alues, no blurting of some unsavoury remark. To say otherwise ― and to concede to the hysterics ― is to make yet another surrender to wokery and cancel culture

にもかかわらず Harry and Meghan's (人命などを)奪う,主張するs on Oprah, there has been no transgression, no sin against 21st-century values, no blurting of some unsavoury 発言/述べる. To say さもなければ ― and to 譲歩する to the hysterics ― is to make yet another 降伏する to wokery and 取り消す culture

We all love a hoo-ha, 特に if it 伴う/関わるs the 王室のs.

Piers ?Morgan gets to fulminate splendidly on his TV show. ?政府 大臣s have the 救済 of going on the マスコミ and talking 厳粛に about something other than politics.

In a way, it is all innocent; and yet I can’t help thinking that there is still something pernicious about the whole 商売/仕事.

The 'royal racists' were named in the Dutch translation of Omid Scobie's Endgame

The '王室の 人種差別主義者s' were 指名するd in the Dutch translation of Omid Scobie's Endgame

What is this 告訴,告発 of ?‘raci sm’? It is yet another example of the 過程 by which ordinary human patterns of thought and behaviour are 公然と非難するd, demonised and 削除するd from the canon of acceptability. The 王室の Family is said to be 熟視する/熟考するing some 肉親,親類d of 合法的な 活動/戦闘, to stop the 指名する or 指名するs of the 申し立てられた/疑わしい 犯人 or 犯人s from 存在 published.

Any such 合法的な 活動/戦闘 strikes me as a mistake. The 成果/努力 to ?抑える the 身元 would seem to 譲歩する that there has indeed been some form of transgression, that someone really has said something for which public ?非難 is 予定 ― and that, as far as I can see, is total rubbish.

There has been no transgression, no sin against 21st-century values, no blurting of some unsavoury 発言/述べる.

To say さもなければ ― and to ?譲歩する to the hysterics ― is to make yet another 降伏する to wokery and 取り消す culture.

People have had enough of all this. Ask yourself why the 見解(をとる)ing public has 砂漠d BBC ?Newsnight, that once 広大な/多数の/重要な haunt of Jeremy Paxman ― whose own political opinions, no 事柄 how blistering his questions, were always 隠すd in obscurity.

Is it perhaps because audiences are fed up with the endless de haut en bas* sneering at the ?大多数 of the UK 全住民 who 投票(する)d for Brexit?

Or ask yourself why such a 抱擁する chunk of the 選挙民 of the 部隊d 明言する/公表するs seems to be so 決定するd ― on the 現在の ?証拠 ― to choose Donald Trump to serve another 称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語 as 大統領,/社長.

It seems astonishing that they are willing to overlook his ?behaviour after the last 選挙, and his 拒絶 to 尊敬(する)・点 the ?結果 of the democratic ?過程; and yet he seems, for now, 井戸/弁護士席 ahead in the race for the 共和国の/共和党の 指名/任命.

The fact is that many millions of Americans 率 him as a man who says what he thinks, even if it is pretty unpast eurised, and they ますます dislike the way the Left-自由主義の 設立 is ?trying to 取り消す him, to use the 法律 to 鎮圧する him and to stop him from 捜し出すing their 投票(する)s again.

To that extent wokery is 証明するing self-敗北・負かすing. But it is worse than that.

I have spent a lot of time in the past 18 months (選挙などの)運動をするing for the people of ウクライナ共和国 in their heroic struggle for freedom.

Ask yourself why the viewing public has deserted BBC ?Newsnight, that once great haunt of Jeremy Paxman
Or ask yourself why such a huge chunk of the electorate of the United States seems to be so determined ― on the present ?evidence ― to choose Donald Trump to serve another term as president

?I have been shocked as I go around the world to find so many places where they are willing to give Putin the 利益 of the 疑問; and one 推論する/理由 for that, I think, is that he is able to satirise some 面s of our values.

He can point to us in the 自由主義の Western 僕主主義s and say: look at that lot, they don’t even have the guts to say what a woman is.

Or he can say: look at Western 自由主義の education, they let pre-pubescent children decide what sex they want to be.

In other words, he is 現在のing himself as the custodian of ordinary ありふれた sense against wacky Western wokery ― and, 公正に/かなり or not, it is working.

In Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and South Asia, they are reading about the 審議s in the UK, and the cancelling of people like J.K. Rowling, and they are thinking, hmm . . . maybe Putin has a point.

That is a 災害. We are sticking up for ウクライナ共和国 because we believe in freedom and 僕主主義 and human 権利s, and because we want to help the Ukrainians 敗北・負かす an evil and 犯罪の 侵略. On all those points we can 勝利,勝つ the argument.

But when it comes to wokery, and 取り消す culture, and forbidding people from 説 things that have always seemed perfectly natural ― there we lose our audience. Wokery is costing the West, and we need to wake up to it.

率直に I neither know nor care which 王室の said something about Archie, but I am 確かな that he or she was not remotely 人種差別主義者. It’s time to stop all thi s nonsense, and re-draw the distinction between the ugliness of 人種差別主義 and prejudice ― against which we have abundant 法令s ― and ordinary, innocent patterns of human thought and behaviour.

It’s time to wake the woke from their trance, and 取り消す the 取り消す culture; because it’s starting to make a mockery of the 自由主義の values that really 事柄.
