Bruno Fernandes 運動s me crazy but wouldn't be so annoying if Man 部隊d had better players! DANNY MURPHY 収容する/認めるs he's changed his opinion on Red Devils captain

  • Bruno Fernandes is not captain 構成要素 but he is Man 部隊d's best player

I’ve given Bruno Fernandes plenty of stick for his tantrums over the years so it’s time to 是正する the balance.

He may not be captaincy 構成要素 in my 注目する,もくろむs because of his petulance but he’s also Manchester 部隊d’s best player by a mile and the only way they can 勝利,勝つ a トロフィー this season.

If he played for a 適切に decent team like Manchester City or Liverpool, I bet he wouldn’t get half as 失望させるd.

I’ve always admired players who show courage and Bruno is definitely one of those.

Bravery doesn’t always have to mean crunching into 50-50 取り組むs. It’s about taking the ball under 圧力 , knowing there will be groans around the stadium if you lose it but 受託するing the 責任/義務 of creating for your team.

The Portugal international's histrionics can wind up both his admirers and his detractors

But there is real brilliance on his play, and he is far and away Manchester United's best player

But there is real brilliance on his play, and he is far and away Manchester 部隊d's best player

Yes, his histrionics can 運動 me and everyone else crazy but it’s about time to 認める there are 推論する/理由s why and understanding why he’s like that.

It’s because he cares and can’t help becoming incredibly 失望させるd that the players around him in this 部隊d team often aren't at his level.

He is one who has to try the defence-splitting pass or take a 発射 because others won’t.

The Portugal international is also 持続する. He makes himself 利用できる to play every time no 事柄 how difficult the team’s form is.

We can all think of players who might “feel” an 傷害 niggle when the going gets 堅い and decide to sit out a game or two.

I’ve watched Bruno closely in 部隊d’s last matches against Liverpool and Bournemouth. It’s only 負かす/撃墜する to him that Erik ten Hag’s team were able to eke out a result.

That has to be credited and admired. So does his 首相 League 記録,記録的な/記録する of 52 goals and 39 補助装置s in 155 games from midfield - in a struggling 部隊d team. Can you imagine his numbers if he was playing in a 最高の,を越す 味方する?

部隊d will rely on him again for producing a bit of 魔法 in Sunday's FA Cup 半分-final against Coventry. They’ll be favourites against 選手権 対立 but it’s Bruno who will carry the attacking 重荷(を負わせる).

He may not be captaincy material in my eyes because of his frequent on-pitch petulance

He may not be captaincy 構成要素 in my 注目する,もくろむs because of his たびたび(訪れる) on-pitch petu lance?

If Fernandes played for a properly decent team like Manchester City or Liverpool, I bet he wouldn’t get half as frustrated

If Fernandes played for a 適切に decent team like Manchester City or Liverpool, I bet he wouldn’t get half as 失望させるd

I’m sure that annoying part to his game would 沈下する if 部隊d were a more cohesive 部隊.

I can’t 同意しない that he should stay more focussed and keep his discipline as the leader of his team. But I understand that behaviour comes from a place of desperation.

Going 支援する to my playing days, if you’re around people who aren’t as 有能な, it can 勝利,勝つd you up and make things difficult.

Bruno is not good at 抑えるing his emotions but at the same time his 出資/貢献 has been 抱擁する.

You wouldn’t get the same 演劇 from him playing for Pep Guardiola or Jurgen Klopp because he wouldn’t see team-mates lose the ball or make a 防御の gaffe as often.

I’ll be 利益/興味d to see if Bruno can put on a show at Wembley on Sunday. The FA Cup always throws up brilliant stories and seeing 示す コマドリs lead out Coventry against the club where he made his 指名する is certainly that.

コマドリs is credited with saving Fergie’s 職業 of course with his third-一連の会議、交渉/完成する 勝利者 at Nottingham Forest in 1990 when 部隊d went on 勝利,勝つ the トロフィー.

I do remember the game because my brother was a 部隊d fan and went to the City Ground to watch.

I’ve always admired players who show courage and Bruno is definitely one of those

No 競争 throws up 陰謀(を企てる) lines やめる like the FA Cup and as soon as Coventry won at Wolves in the last 一連の会議、交渉/完成する and 部隊d had beaten Liverpool, I was sure they’d be paired together.

It takes me 支援する to my childhood. One of my favourite FA Cup 決勝戦 was watching Coventry as a 10-year-old (警官の)巡回区域,受持ち区域 刺激(する)s 3-2. Dave Bennett’s cross for Keith Houchen’s 飛び込み header lives with me to this day.

Some of the Sky Blue fans at Wembley on Sunday will have been there 38 years ago. I guess another fairytale is possible but they’ll have to を取り引きする Bruno who will be the most gifted player on the pitch.

I’m not excusing his more extreme behaviours but I have to 高く評価する/(相場などが)上がる where it’s coming from and 認める that without him, 部隊d would be in a far worse place than they are now.

FA Cup 支配する changes needed more consideration

I’m a traditionalist and disappointed that FA Cup replays are 存在 scrapped and the final will no longer be the last game of the 国内の season.

I’m not against change but they could have worked things out better.

An FA Cup replay was an important part of my own footballing 開発. 乗組員 draw with Wimbledon’s Crazy ギャング(団) at Gresty Road and it was a big thing to go 負かす/撃墜する there for a replay against real 戦う/戦い-常習的な types like Vinnie Jones and Mick Harford.

We lost 2-0 but the experience was hugely 有益な.

Let’s get it 権利, the only 推論する/理由 the 決定/判定勝ち(する) to end replays has been made is because the big clubs are 用意が出来ている to sacrifice the 魔法 of the FA Cup so their players can be kept fresher for the lucrative European 競争s.

It’s about succumbing to the 需要・要求するs of the wealthiest rather than doing the 権利 thing and 尊敬(する)・点ing the history of our game.

I’d rather things hadn’t changed. Now that they have, should it be time to consider ways of helping lower league clubs who will lose 歳入 by 殺人,大当り off replays.

Maybe 首相 League clubs should be seeded for the third 一連の会議、交渉/完成する to 避ける each other. And the lower league clubs can choose whether they want the game at their own ground or play at the bigger stadium with the 利益s of larger gate 領収書s.

I think it’s a shame the 当局 have relented to the bigger clubs. 首相 League owners and CEOs want いっそう少なく fixtures apart from those that make the really big bucks. It’s 純粋に about 財政/金融.

I also dislike the 決定/判定勝ち(する) that the 首相 League season will now finish after the FA Cup final. But this isn’t the first time the FA Cup has been sacrificed.

The allure of Wembley has been lost by 持つ/拘留するing 半分-決勝戦 there. That special thrill of thousands of fans travelling 負かす/撃墜する for cup final day is lost because those 支持者s had already been there a month before! It’s greed.

This season’s FA Cup has thrown up some incredible games. The Man Utd-Liverpool 4-3 thriller stands out. So does Newport getting an equaliser against 部隊d. And Coventry’s late 勝利,勝つ at Wolves.

It always produces incredible 演劇 but it’s 存在 made a scapegoat for the ますます-cumbersome and unworkable fixture 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる).

I enjoyed my interview with Joao Palhinha last week but I had to disagree with him on one thing

I enjoyed my interview with Joao Palhinha last week but I had to 同意しない with him on one thing

Palhinha's big mistake!?

I enjoyed my interview with Joao Palhinha last week but I had to 同意しない with him on one thing. He was asked by the Mail Sport’s social マスコミ team to choose between Luka Modric and Steven Gerrard ? and he 選ぶd for the Croatian!

No chance. Stevie in his prime would have been so pumped up 直面するing a world-class 対抗者, he’d have run all over him. As brilliant as Modric is, he couldn’t have 対処するd with Stevie’s athleticism.
