A dreamy image of a polar 耐える drifting to sleep on a ‘bed’ carved into an iceberg has been 投票(する)d the 勝利者 of the 野性生物 Photographer of the Year People’s Choice Award?(WPY).?

Nima 逮捕(する)d his remarkable picture - called 'Ice Bed' - after three days searching for polar 耐えるs in 厚い 霧. The 探検隊/遠征隊 大型船 he was on decided to change course and 長,率いるd に向かって an area of sea ice. Here they 遭遇(する)d two polar 耐えるs.

Director of the Natural History Museum, Dr Douglas Gurr, said: 'Nima's breathtaking and poignant image 許すs us to see the beauty and fragility of our 惑星. His thought-刺激するing image is a stark 思い出の品 of the integral 社債 between an animal and its habitat and serves as a visual 代表 of the detrimental 衝撃s of 気候 warming and habitat loss.'?

Nima says: 'I am so honoured to have won this year's Pe ople's Choice award for WPY, the most prestigious 野性生物 photography 競争. This photograph has stirred strong emotions in many of those who have seen it.?

'Whilst 気候 change is the biggest challenge we 直面する, I hope that this photograph also 奮起させるs hope - there is still time to 直す/買収する,八百長をする the mess we have 原因(となる)d.'

The work of the four other finalists spanned the globe to 描写する nature at its most miraculous.
