Kate, 42, has been made a 王室の Companion of the organisation, which was 設立するd by King George V in 1917 to recognise 優れた 業績／成就s in the arts, sciences, 薬／医学 and public service.
The Mail understands it is the first time that a member of the 王室の family has been 任命するd in the order's century-long history.
