His father became an accountant before setting up several 商売/仕事s in Somalia. Speaking to the 後見人 in 2017, he said he had a 契約 with Massey Ferguson tractors, introduced Coca-Cola to the country and also started Somalia's first 独立した・無所属 newspaper.
