INGRID SEWARD: William and Kate were 権利 to 直面する 負かす/撃墜する the 下水管 of social マスコミ and 持続する some dignity. This is what we 推定する/予想する of 王室のs

Catherine is hardly the first Princess of むちの跡s to find herself the 支配する of 圧倒的な scrutiny.

The often fraught 関係 between her late mother-in-法律, Princess Diana, and the マスコミ must surely have played a part in the Waleses’ guarded approach when it comes to 詳細(に述べる)s of home and family life.

Who could 非難する them?

Yet, it’s easily forgotten that Diana’s 取引 with the 圧力(をかける) had once been 圧倒的に 肯定的な.

In the 早期に days of her courtship with Charles, 新聞記者/雑誌記者s who spent time on the doorstep of her Kensington flat hoping for a few quick words were surprised to find how friendly Diana was.

Perhaps, looking 支援する, we can (悪事,秘密などを)発見する the start of 未来 troubles in such 開いていること/寛大. At the time, however, it was refreshing to see a 可能性のある member of the 王室の Family seeming to be so approachable.

Such was the enthusiasm for Diana - and such was the 不足 of other 恐らく suitable partners for a 未来 君主 who was by then in his thirties and had played the field - that important questions were ignored.

Little attention was paid to the story of her unhappy childhood, or to the personal insecurity that had continued to develop in her.

Years later, Diana 自白するd to me that, in all her years as a Princess of むちの跡s, she never got used to the adoration of the public.

But the truth is that she had 法廷,裁判所d Hollywood style-publicity then 設立する she was unable to 支配(する)/統制する it ? and at 危険 of 存在 消費するd by it.

It’s is a lesson that her son, William, and Catherine will most certainly have learned.

We can see it in the 決意 to steer their own line through choppy waters. To を取り引きする 私的な problems on their own 条件.

I applaud the Prince and Princess of むちの跡s for trying to 直面する 負かす/撃墜する the 下水管 of social マスコミ and 持続する some dignity. やめる 権利.

This, in the long run, is what we 推定する/予想する of 王室のs.

There can be no victory over the trolls 用意が出来ている to say and do anything at all, 明らかに at no cost to themselves.

William and Catherine have kept their 長,率いるs. They have been the epitome of the 表現 ‘keep 静める and carry on’.

If 新聞記者/雑誌記者s and photographers are not the Waleses’ friends, as they were Diana’s (some, at least), neither are they enemies.

Now that Catherine has 明らかにする/漏らすd her 癌 diagnosis in that emotional broadcast to the nation, she and her family seem to be enjoying some privacy at last.

‘深く,強烈に 失望させるd’ as William might be about the 最近の 熱狂的興奮状態, he has remained 静める, in public, at least. His support was movingly 定評のある by Catherine in her ビデオ.

The Prince of むちの跡s has carried on with his work where possible, 許すing his office to come up with ideas for his wife’s public 復帰, whenever that might be.

Kate and William have 直面するd their difficulties in a friendly but detached way and moved on.

That is what they have always done. It’s as it should be.
