It isn't the most 従来の of hellos.

Out on a boat on the?Colorado?River, a fisherman waves at us, then turns away, and proceeds to pull 負かす/撃墜する his trousers to expose his (rather large) 底(に届く).

‘We call this Moon River,’ laughs our train guard, explaining that this unusual 行為/法令/行動する is considered a good-natured いたずら. We have received what the train staff call the ‘Colorado salute’.

Welcome to a 旅行 from Denver, Colorado’s 資本/首都, to the town of Moab in Utah, 船内に one of America’s most みごたえのある train rides: the Rocky Mountaineer.

The 370-mile trip takes you though the Rocky Mountains, with bald eagles 急に上がるing above and deer darting by the 跡をつけるs. Rising from 砂漠 prairies, you’re soon winding between jagged, snow-dusted 頂点(に達する)s and 交渉するing 広大な, red-hued canyons.

Rocky Mountaineer trains began in Canada in 1990, rolling between Vancouver, Jasper, Banff and Calgary ? and the sumptuous trains, wi th gourmet meals and smartly dressed staff, 証明するd such a 攻撃する,衝突する that the rail 操作者 支店d out two years ago with a US 大勝する.

The American 旅行s operate between 中央の-April and October, 含むing an 夜通し stay in the intriguing little town of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, where the Wild West gunfighting legend Doc Holliday died in 1887.

It makes for one of the greatest train rides anywhere on the 惑星 (let alone just the US). And it isn’t just the scenery that’s 控訴,上告ing.

There’s a lively camaraderie on board, which might have something to do with the 解放する/自由な-flowing drinks in the SilverLeaf 加える lounge, where Fats Waller and George Gershwin tunes play on the (a)自動的な/(n)自動拳銃 piano.

‘Ain’t this just wonderful?’ says Sam from Vancouver, who brings me a martini and tells me about the novel he’s 令状ing about the old Wild West.

Debbie, who joins us ? also with a martini in 手渡す ? is in a dreamy mood as we enter yet another canyon: ‘I just love this ride.’

The 最高の,を越す 速度(を上げる) is 60mph, though the 普通の/平均(する) is 35mph. After our night out in Glenwood Springs ? with modern-day cowboys in old-style taverns and steaming hot springs (hence its 指名する) ? we putter on the next morning through more marvellous ravines.

Little 解決/入植地s with 指名するs like Silt, ライフル銃/探して盗む and No 指名する come and go. It really does feel like the 支援する of beyond.
