For a 正確な 鮮明度/定義 of 激しく揺する-星/主役にする style, look no その上の than Velvet Revolver.

同様に as 存在 a four-million-album-selling US 激しく揺する 現象 in their own 権利, the 禁止(する)d are the 現在の offshoot of two of America's biggest, baddest, hardest-living 行為/法令/行動するs.

述べるd by 先頭 Halen's 伝説の former singer Sammy Hagar as "the best 激しく揺する 'n' roll 禁止(する)d left on the 惑星", Velvet Revolver are 前線d

by charismatic, 着せる/賦与するs-obsessed and 危険に thin ex-石/投石する 寺 操縦するs singer Scott Weiland.

削除する, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum, 以前は of the Eighties' biggest 激しく揺する 'n' roll 禁止(する)d Guns N' Roses, are guitarist, bassist and drummer それぞれ, and the line-up is 一連の会議、交渉/完成するd out by guitarist Dave Kushner.

Velvet Revolver

削除する, lead guitarist of Velvet Revolver and Matt Sorum on the 派手に宣伝するs, flaunt their 激しく揺する n roll style 信任状

It's hardly an exaggeration to say they didn't just come to epitomise the sex, 麻薬s and swagger of the LA 激しい 激しく揺する, leather and tattoos music scene ? they invented it.

Velvet Revolver's first album, 2004's snarling Contraband, broke all first-week sales 記録,記録的な/記録するs on its way to the 最高の,を越す of the charts, 転換ing a staggering 256,000 copies in just four days, making it 公式に the "fastest-selling debut album by a 激しく揺する 行為/法令/行動する in American chart history".

Two incendiary world 小旅行するs and a Grammy for Best Hard 激しく揺する 業績/成果 その上の 確認するd that they are more than just the sum of their past glories, and that mirrored shades, punk T-shirts, bandanas, skull motifs, army-黒字/過剰 着せる/賦与するs and maybe even leather 最高の,を越す hats could be on their way 支援する.

Yet wh ile the 復活 in all things Eighties may have made the return of stadium 激しく揺する 必然的な, the members of Velvet Revolver are lucky to have lived long enough to see it.

Velvet Revolver

Dave Kushner, Duff McKagan and Scott Weiland of the 着せる/賦与するs-obsessed 禁止(する)d - dubbed the 'best 激しく揺する 'n' roll 禁止(する)d left on the 惑星'

Between them they've devoured every page of the 激しく揺する 'n' roll handbook and 追加するd

a few comically debauched 一時期/支部s

of their own.

Thankfully they've 生き残るd and, the 半端物 minor relapse aside, the worst of their 超過s are behind them.

Even Scott Weiland ? famed as much for his 戦う/戦い with ヘロイン as he is for selling 35 million albums with 石/投石する 寺 操縦するs and his love of 偽の fur, 罰金 tailoring, designer ponchos and hats ? has cleaned up and is ready to be a 激しく揺する god again.

With children and rehab having 取って代わるd groupies and 麻薬s, the 禁止(する)d's

second album, Libertad, finds them older, wiser, but no いっそう少なく 激しく揺する 'n' roll.

削除する: I stole my first 最高の,を越す hat. I always had a thing for hats ? they really 完全にする a look.

Around 1985, 早期に in Guns N' Roses' career before we had a 記録,記録的な/記録する 取引,協定, I was 負かす/撃墜する on Melrose Avenue looking for something 冷静な/正味の to wear to a gig that night at the Whisky A Go-Go.

I didn't have any money, so that meant 基本的に something I could steal. So I went to a 蓄える/店 called 小売 Slut and saw this 最高の,を越す hat, and it just spoke to me. I put it on and it looked 冷静な/正味の, but

then I thought, "How do you steal a 最高の,を越す hat?"

It's not just something you put in your pocket. So I grabbed it and just walked out of the 蓄える/店. I was 露骨な/あからさまの.

I got halfway 負かす/撃墜する the 封鎖する and no one chased me, so I got away with it. You have to 調査する until you find your image. It could have been very

different with me ? before I got into the 最高の,を越す hat I used to wear a bowler.

I always thought bowlers and fedoras were 冷静な/正味の, but they didn't stick.

Matt: I've always been 利益/興味d in the idea of 激しく揺する 'n' roll and fashion. So much so that I have my own fashion line called Sorum Noce.

I designed a leather jacket 特に for 削除する, which has this special pocket for his Gitanes and はしけ. He loves it. I'm really into 控訴s. I was always 奮起させるd by Tony Curtis ? he always looks impeccable. He's a master of style.

We're bringing old-world values and sophistication 支援する to fashion. I like things elegant, English-tailored, 黒人/ボイコット and small.

削除する: In my 早期に Guns N' Roses days I wore too many 従犯者s and way too much make-up. In the first year we were together there was a New York Dolls-vibe going on.

But I didn't feel comfortable in all that, so it didn't last long.

Scott: I have worn Nazi gear, but in no way, 形態/調整, or form am I one. The Nazi SS hat I wear symbolises, in fact, the loss of 僕主主義 and the 転換 to 全体主義.

One could make an argument that the 政府 of the 部隊d 明言する/公表するs is 発展させるing into, or is already, a 国粋主義者/ファシスト党員 警察国家, hiding under the guise of a 共和国.

削除する: My style icons are all 激しく揺する 星/主役にするs. Keith Richards is one, and Jimi Hendrix wore stuff that was 冷静な/正味の. Aerosmith's Joe Perry is probably the best-dressed 激しく揺する 星/主役にする and I like Malcolm Young from AC/DC,

who wears simple 黒人/ボイコット ジーンズs and 黒人/ボイコット T-shirts.

Scott: Velvet Revolver are like Evel Knievel ? people didn't go to see Evel Knievel make those jumps, they went to see him wipe out and break every bone in his 団体/死体.

That's what it was like for people to see us. 最初, people いっそう少なく 利益/興味d in coming to see if we were any good than seeing five 悪名高い アル中患者s self-combust on 行う/開催する/段階. Then they realised we were the real thing.

Duff: All the Guns N' Roses stories are true. No exaggeration is necessary. I really was drinking two litres of vodka a day at one 行う/開催する/段階. I'd fill up a pint glass with vodka then 最高の,を越す it off with cranberry.

That'd be a cocktail for me. But my 寛容 was so high it'd be like anyone else drinking a pint of beer. I wouldn't be drunk ? I just wouldn't be shaking any more.

Dave: We keep 激しく揺する 'n' roll alive. When we got Velvet Revolver together in 2002 there weren't any 禁止(する)d around ? we were what was 行方不明の. It wasn't about money. I grew up at the time of punk.

People like Iggy And The Stooges were my heroes. They were never about the money.

Duff: It's true that my 膵臓 爆発するd. I was 難破させるd with alcoholism and then, in 1994, my 膵臓 gave out. I remember 存在 in

hospital and my mum (機の)カム to visit me and I had tubes running from everywhere.

I thought, "This is wrong." I floated above the bed, the whole 近づく-death thing. That was life- changing.

Then I met a woman, we had our first baby and all of a sudden it was like, "Oh, this is what life's about. All that other stuff's just 激しく揺する 'n' roll."

削除する: I don't know one person in this 商売/仕事 who doesn't have a burial ground-価値(がある) of 骸骨/概要s in their closet. I'm one of the biggest ****-ups ever, so it didn't worry me having an ex-junkie for a singer.

I'm just not that judgemental. It was a given that Scott had this baggage that he'd been 取引,協定ing with for years. He said he 手配中の,お尋ね者 to get clean, so we 決起大会/結集させるd for him. We had to jump a lot of 障害物s but it was 価値(がある) it.

Scott's got a 広大な/多数の/重要な 激しく揺する 'n' roll 発言する/表明する and 教祖的指導力. Had we not taken those chances we wouldn't have the 禁止(する)d we do.

Duff: Not many people know this but I have a degree in 財政/金融. I got 利益/興味d in how money 作品 when Guns started selling 記録,記録的な/記録するs. I (機の)カム from a really working-class family.

I was the last of eight kids, and it was just our mum, so we didn't come from money. When I joined Guns we all lived way below the poverty line.

Then suddenly we started making serious money. My first cheque was for $80,000. I'd been living on $100 a week. I was 22 and didn't know

anything. Luckily we had a good accountant who didn't 引き裂く us off.

Instead, she told us to buy houses and 投資する the money. That was when I started asking questions. I 入会させるd in university in 1994 to 熟考する/考慮する 在庫/株s, 社債s and 安全s. I was tripping out ? I hadn't even finished high school.

Scott: I've had so many chances I feel like a skinned cat. I'm afraid of stepping off the kerb I've had so many chances. But this is the first 記録,記録的な/記録する I've made in years where I 港/避難所't been high, and it's been 広大な/多数の/重要な.

Duff: My daughter prefers Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen to Velvet Revolver ? we're not really her taste. She's nine and pretty 前進するd when it comes to music, more like a 12- or 13-year-old because she has grown up with it.

She tells me what's 冷静な/正味の. We did this thing for Yahoo! the other day and she thinks that's just 殺し屋. She told us to do it. We were thinking we'd do MTV and she says, "No, do Yahoo!" Turns out she's 権利.

It used to be that you'd do Saturday Night Live, that was the big thing, but now that show gets three million テレビ視聴者s 反して if you do Yahoo! 30 million people see it. It's crazy.

I really 行方不明になる my family wh en we're away on 小旅行する, but my wife and kids send me emails and ビデオs. We all carry a BlackBerry with us ? although these days I have to put on

my reading glasses to

see 地雷.

削除する: 信用 me, it's so much better this time around. Don't get me wrong, 支援する in the day it was a lot of fun ? but now life is 広大な/多数の/重要な.

Velvet Revolver 小旅行する the UK from March 15?27.
