Hundreds more people will be checked for dementia as part of a new specialist service 存在 trialled across the country, the NHS has 発表するd.
Care home 居住(者)s will be proactively 査定する/(税金などを)課すd for the 条件 by specialist nurses and other healthcare professionals through 14 new 操縦する 計画/陰謀s 存在 rolled out in the new year.

As part of the 地元の dementia 運動s, GPs will 株 a 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) of care home 居住(者)s without a dementia diagnosis.
Staff 伴う/関わるd in the 操縦する will check with the care home to see if those 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる)d have memory problems and 居住(者)s will be 申し込む/申し出d a 十分な 直面する-to-直面する 査定/評価.
They will then review a 居住(者)'s use of 薬/医学, 同様に as speaking to friends and family to 決定する whether they have dementia.
Two 操縦するs will be 開始する,打ち上げるd in each of England's seven 地域s from January, に引き続いて a £900,000 投資 from NHS England.
A successful 裁判,公判 in Norfolk saw 100 care home 居住(者)s given 直面する-to-直面する 査定/評価s, with 95 people receiving a dementia diagnosis.
A family member of one of the 居住(者)s who received a diagnosis as a result of the 裁判,公判 said it 'gave her peace of mind'.
Professor Alistair 燃やすs, NHS England's 国家の 臨床の director for dementia, said: 'The pandemic has 自然に had an 衝撃 on the number of people 診断するd with dementia, with 年輩の people seeing より小数の people to 保護する themselves from Covid-19.

'There are many things we can do in the NHS to care for and support people if they do get a diagnosis, and importantly there is support for their families and carers too.

The 最新の NHS 人物/姿/数字s show that 451,992 people in England have a dementia diagnosis, up 2.8 per cent on the last year.
Referrals to memory services have now returned to pre-pandemic levels with 301,218 in 2021/22, data shows.

Mental health nurse Laura Hudson, 45, from King's Lynn, Norfolk, got her mother Pam, a former nurse, 80, 診断するd with dementia thanks to the 操縦する.
She said: 'She was a general nurse for 20 years but people who knew her then wouldn't recognise her now.
'She wouldn't eat if you didn't make her eat. She wouldn't drink unless you made her.
'I'm so relieved and pleased that she has the dementia diagnosis because it has meant that people realise that they have to dig a little deeper with her. If you ask her if she's 承認する she will say she's 罰金 but いつかs you have to ask a little more than that to get to the 底(に届く) of things.
'She's getting good care where she is, but the diagnosis gives me peace of mind that if she has to go into hospital she will be 扱う/治療するd 適切な there.'
