Why 妊娠している film fans should stick to happy movies

妊娠している women planning a night at the cinema might want to steer （疑いを）晴らす of 涙／ほころび-jerkers.

Scientists have discove red that unborn babies 答える／応じる to their mother's mood while she is watching a movie - and become 静かな and still if the film is sad.

In a bizarre 実験, foetuses threw their 武器 around when their mothers watched a feel-good clip from The Sound of Music - but became subdued during a sad scene from The Champ.

In the new 熟考する／考慮する, carried out at Nagasaki University in Japan, ten 妊娠している volunteers were asked to watch an 上昇傾向 five-minute clip from the Julie Andrews musical, The Sound of Music.

Another 14 watched a 涙／ほころび-jerking five minutes from the 1979 フランス系カナダ人 Zeffirelli film The Champ, in which a boy cries at the death of his father.

The clips were '挟むd' between two 抽出するs of 中立の programmes so the 研究員s could 手段 any changes in the movement of the babies.

The mothers-to-be listened to the movies using earphones to 保証（人） their unborn babies were not 存在 影響（力）d by the movie's soundtrack.

Dr Kazuyuki Shinorhara, who led th e 熟考する／考慮する, used ultrasound ざっと目を通すs to count the number of arm, 脚 and 団体／死体 movements of the babies while their mothers were watching the clips.
