A strict 禁止（する） on 国内の cats could save the nation billions - and two-thirds of the country say they would support it

A 全国的な 禁止（する） could be 課すd on pet cat owners that could save the country billions of dollars - and a new 調査する 明らかにする／漏らすs most Australians would support it.

The 支配するs could see pet cats banned from going outdoors and owners slapped with hefty 罰金s if they don't keep them indoors 永久的に.?

Some 地元の 会議s along with the whole of the ACT are already 課すing the 禁止（する） while others, like Geelong and the City of Melbourne, are in the 過程 - but there are fresh calls to 課す a 一面に覆う／毛布 禁止（する） 国家的に.

'修正するing the 法律 in NSW to 器具／実施する 24/7 cat 封じ込め（政策） 支配するs is a simple step that would have 深遠な 利益s for our native 野性生物,' Jack Gough, Advocacy 経営者／支配人 at the Invasive 種類 会議 said.

'会議s across the 明言する／公表する are crying out for this 改正 so that they can 保護する their 地元の bushland from the enormous 衝撃s of roaming pet cats.

On 普通の／平均（する）, a roaming pet cat kills 186 reptiles, birds and 哺乳動物s per year while a feral cat kills 748.

When that is 規模d up to the millions of cats in Australia, it is a 抱擁する problem, with cats playing a 主要な 役割 in the 大多数 of Australia's 34 哺乳動物 絶滅s since colonisation.?

Ms Dielenberg, who is also the communications and 約束／交戦 経営者／支配人 for the Biodiversity 会議, said that with the level of support for a 一面に覆う／毛布 cat 封じ込め（政策） 支配する in the community 'the time might be 権利 for 全国的な change in how we manage our pet cats.'

'Broader 採択 of keeping cats 安全な at home would have large 利益s for cat 福利事業, human health, 地元の 野性生物 and even the economy,' she said.
