イスラエル's 洞穴 of wonders: Silver coins and treasure dating 支援する 2,300 years to Alexander the 広大な／多数の／重要な discovered

A treasure trove of rare silver coins and jewellery that date from the 統治する of Alexander the 広大な／多数の／重要な have been discovered by 洞穴 explorers in northern イスラエル.

The 2,300 year old treasures were 設立する hidden in a 狭くする niche の中で pieces of broken pottery within the stalactite filled 洞穴.

They were spotted by three members of the Israeli 洞穴ing Club who had squeezed through the 狭くする passages at the 入り口 of the 洞穴 to 調査する inside.

One of the spelunkers, 女／おっせかい屋 Zakai, spotted something 向こうずねing on the 洞穴 床に打ち倒す. It turned out to be two 古代の silver coins.

The group had spent several hours 調査するing the 狭くする passages in the 洞穴 when 女／おっせかい屋 軍隊d his way into a 狭くする niche and spotted the coins glinting in the light of his 長，率いる たいまつ.

Archaeologists say some of the artifacts 設立する in the 洞穴 date 支援する to the Chalcolithic period more than 6,000 years ago.

Some bronze items date 支援する 5,000 years while there are others from the Biblical period 3,000 years ago and the Hellenistic period 2,300 years ago.?
