Police taking デオキシリボ核酸 from the under-10s

A total of 108 youngsters have been swabbed and had their 詳細（に述べる）s placed on the 議論の的になる database - にもかかわらず 存在 too young to be considered 有罪の of an offence.

Until a child is ten, they are below the 合法的な age of 犯罪の 責任／義務, designed to 保護する those who do not yet know wrong from 権利.

They are also taking 見本s to 証明する that - while the youngster is too young to be 起訴するd - they were 責任がある an 行為／法令／行動する such as 犯罪の 損失.

A Home Office 広報担当者 said: 'There are a very small number of children under ten on the database - tens, not hundreds.

"Police officers cannot take 見本s from under-tens without the 同意 of a parent or guard ian.
