Archaeologists have 暴露するd 'conclusive 証拠' that a 木造の hut 伝統的に associated with St Columba dates to his lifetime in the late sixth century AD.?

Columba was born in Ireland in 521 AD.

Professor Thomas died last year but Dr Adrian Maldonado, from the University of Glasgow, 述べるd the dating as vindication of his foresight in 蓄える／店ing the 見本s.

'Now we know they belonged to a structure which stood there in Columba's lifetime.

'More than that, the dates, and our new understanding of the turning of the 場所／位置 into a monument not long after its use, makes it pretty （疑いを）晴らす that this was St Columba's day or 令状ing house.'
