有望な idea: 最高の-efficient light outshines low-energy bulbs

A new 世代 of 最高の-efficient light bulbs was 明かすd by scientists yesterday.

They said the bulbs would (一定の)期間 the end of 正規の/正選手 filament models within three years.

LED lights, which are used in 電気の gadgets such as 動きやすい phones and computers, have been 裁判官d unsuitable to light homes until now because they are not 有望な enough to illuminate whole rooms.

But 研究員s believe they have 設立する a way of making the 装置s much brighter without using any more 力/強力にする.

Faiz Rahman, who is 主要な the 事業/計画(する) at the University of Glasgow, said: "By making microscopic 穴を開けるs on the surface of the LEDs it is possible to 抽出する more light, thus 増加するing the brightness of the lights without 増加するing the energy 消費.

"As yet, LEDs have not been introduced as the 基準 lighting in homes because the 過程 of making the 穴を開けるs is very time-消費するing and expensive.

The 研究 team has been using a technique called nano-imprint lithography to etch microscopicholes on to the LEDs, 許すing more of their light to escape.
