WHAT IS A SONIC ATTACK?

Sonic attacks 落ちる into two 部類s - those that 伴う/関わる audible frequencies and those that are ultrasonic and therefore inaudible.

Audible frequencies 含む things like playing music very loudly to people を受けるing 尋問.

Infrasonic 武器s such as the long 範囲 acoustic 装置 (LRAD) rely on loud, low frequency sounds (infrasounds) and are inaudible.

These are produced by bulky 部隊s that are used for things such as (人が)群がる 支配(する)/統制する and on high 力/強力にする can 原因(となる) symptoms such as nausea.

Ultrasonic (high frequency) bursts also cannot be felt or heard. This is what could have been used against US 外交官s in Cuba in September 2017.??

大使館 労働者s 報告(する)/憶測d 審理,公聴会 loss, dizziness, speech 問題/発行するs, cognitive problems and other 医療の symptoms that appeared to 茎・取り除く from a 'sonic attack' in their homes or hotel rooms.

Some Canadian 大使館 労働者s also 報告(する)/憶測d feeling ill from a high-pitched noise.?

'The extent of these 生物学の 影響s depend on how the ultrasound reaches the pers on 存在 “attacked”', によれば Dr Ian McLoughlin, professor of 計算するing at the University of Kent.

Dr McLoughlin says that the 事例/患者 of the US 外交官s is ありそうもない to be a 審議する/熟考する attack - instead, these 傷害s are probably the 味方する 影響s of intrusive 監視.

'Any sound gets いっそう少なく powerful the その上の you are from a loudspeaker, but ultrasound loses 力/強力にする far more quickly with distance than audible sounds do', he said, 令状ing for the Conversation.

'A 選び出す/独身 ultrasonic emitter (loudspeaker) would struggle to 生成する enough 力/強力にする to 影響する/感情 someone halfway across a typical room.'
