The lifeboat’s engine had been 損失d, which left it unable to move away from the 炎上s leaving the 乗組員 ‘bobbing around like a cork in a bathtub.’

On receiving a mayday message, the Argyll moved 150 miles through difficult sea 条件s to 開始する，打ち上げる their small sea boat, which was used to 軽く押す／注意を引く the lifeboat against the safety of the フリゲート艦 so the 乗組員 could be 解除するd to safety one-by-one.

中尉／大尉／警部補指揮官 Dave Tetchner, from HMS Argyll, said: ‘It was pretty awful for them ? they’d had to fight a 解雇する／砲火／射撃 in dreadful seas.

‘Every one of them 苦しむd smoke inhalation. Then they 直面するd the prospect of abandoning ship and then their lifeboat failed. It was pretty awful all 一連の会議、交渉／完成する and they were shocked.
