It's been just over a year since the 開始する，打ち上げる of ChatGPT?sent the world AI-crazy.

So it’s no surprise that tech 巨大（な）s now want to 統合する and 促進する the 人工的な 知能 能力s in all their new gadgets - from laptops to TVs.

But it's smartphones that look 始める，決める to be one of the biggest AI battlegrounds. Apple's next iPhone is ひどく 噂するd to have 負担s of new AI-力／強力にするd features.

Samsung and Google?have also gone all-in on AI in phones, with their 最新の S24 Ultra and Pixel 8 プロの／賛成の (out this year and late last year それぞれ) both 存在 marketed ひどく on their AI 能力s.

So does AI 現実に make your daily life better?

I 実験（する）d Google’s 旗艦 Pixel 8 プロの／賛成の against Samsung’s 最高の，を越す-of-the-line S24 Ultra to see how the AI features stack up, and whether they are 現実に useful in daily life.?

GOOGLE'S PIXEL?

Google’s Pixel phones have a 長，率いる start in AI, with the tech 巨大（な） having already 追加するd AI to features such as its Recorder app in previous Pixel phones, which transcribes 発言する／表明する conversations using AI in real time.

I have used this for years: the 発言する／表明する transcripts aren’t やめる as ‘clean’ as the ones 供給するd by 競争相手 transcription services such as カワウソ.ai, but it’s very helpful as a 新聞記者／雑誌記者 to be able to see transcripts in real time.

It means that you can see that the recorder is ‘getting’ the conversation and also make a 裁判／判断 call on whether you have enough （警察などへの）密告，告訴（状） to 終わりにする／要約する a call (for example).

Google’s photo app also comes with AI 道具s 含むing 魔法 Eraser (which can 除去する photo-爆撃機s from your images automatically.

It’s 広大な／多数の／重要な fun, but occasionally messes up, for instance, 除去するing a cyclist but not their bicycle.

魔法 Editor lets you move and resize people within images, with generative AI ‘filling in’ the background: it’s impressive, 対処するing with resizing and moving a 発射 of my son inside an 光学の illusion room covered in （土地などの）細長い一片s.

I’m still not sure I’d use the results in a photo album.

The app Best Take is far more useful, letting you take a bunch of 類似の 発射s and select the ‘best’ でっちあげる，人を罪に陥れる, so that people’s 注目する，もくろむs are all open or children aren’t scowling: it’s 平易な to use and 作品 井戸／弁護士席.

This year’s big Pixel 革新 is the AI wallpapers, which 許す you to create weird and occasionally alarming wallpapers using 誘発するs such as ‘a 絵 of robots in the expressionist style’ - it’s pretty silly, but my children are 熱心な fans.

HOW DOES SAMSUNG'S S24 ULTRA STACK UP???

金物類／武器類-wise, Samsung’s S24 Ultra outperforms Pixel, with a 最高の，を越す-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 半導体素子 - but as a 親族 newcomer in phone-based AI, how does it match up?

Samsung’s AI wallpapers feature 作品 井戸／弁護士席, but is pretty much 同一の to the one on Pixel: that said, ever since I started using it, I have never gone 支援する to 非，不，無-AI wallpapers on the phone.

Like other AI image creators, you 料金d in a 始める，決める of words or 誘発するs (but here you're 限られた／立憲的な to a pre-始める，決める 範囲 of words), and the AI whips up a 完全に unique wallpaper based on the input.?

Samsung’s Generative AI photo-editing is pretty impressive for a newcomer, but わずかに glitchier than Google’s 魔法 道具s in use (I 設立する that there were some 半端物 bits in the background after 削除するing myself from a photo, for example).

Circle to Search is unique to Samsung and very 冷静な／正味の - you 持つ／拘留する the Home button to search using an image cropped from literally any app (you can e ven pause ビデオs and select an image).

You either tap on the 審査する or use the S24’s S Pen to circle what you want to search, and it uses AI smarts to Google Search for it.

Samsung’s AI transcription app 作品 井戸／弁護士席 and 配達するs clean transcripts, but 欠如（する）s the on-審査する live functionality of Google’s one.

So does AI 現実に make your daily life better? I 実験（する）d Google’s 旗艦 Pixel 8 プロの／賛成の

The ‘live translate’ 機能（する）／行事 built into the phone app is high on 冷静な／正味の factor also, translating live on 審査する from one language to another and 扱うing my schoolboy German 即時に.?

If for some 推論する／理由 you had to call someone without a 株d language, you could easily get by using this (although I’m struggling to imagine any 状況／情勢 in which this might happen).

There’s also an AI-driven website 要約 機能（する）／行事, as there is on Pixel, which 削減（する）s news stories 負かす／撃墜する to a few paragraphs (although given that most web pag es tend to be 公正に／かなり short and to the point anyway, I’m not （疑いを）晴らす how useful it is).

Samsung’s 公式文書，認めるs app is also packed with AI features with the 選択 to 自動車-判型, 弾丸 point and 要約する 公式文書，認めるs (something not 利用できる on Pixel), and its 効果的な and would be useful if you’re a 激しい 公式文書，認める-taker.

Samsung is 明確に playing ‘catch up’ here, but the 機能（する）／行事s are pretty good for the first time.

So does AI 現実に make your daily life better? I 実験（する）d Google’s 旗艦 Pixel 8 プロの／賛成の

The two phones are very different propositions: Samsung’s is ridiculously powerful with 極端に high-end 構成要素s, but with a price to match ($1299), while Google’s 配達するs a lot of bang for your buck at $999.

Google 辛勝する／優位s it on the AI 前線 (for now) but Samsung is very much breathing 負かす／撃墜する its neck with a host of 利益／興味ing and 潜在的に useful 機能（する）／行事s.

What also seems 確かな is that AI is g oing to be a big part of phones going 今後 - Apple has bought 21 AI start-ups since 2017, によれば PitchBook, and it seems likely that this year’s September 刈る of iPhones will foreground AI.
