Disney+ have 粉砕するd ratings with their new Japanese period 演劇 Shogun as the 緊張した family relations and 正規の／正選手 血の塊／突き刺す have drawn comparisons to Game Of 王位s?from critics.
Based on James Clavell's 1975 novel fictionalising 17th century feudalist Japan, Shogun?features 残虐な beheadings, people 存在 blown to smithereens and 死刑執行 by boiling alive.
But the 10-part show has also received acclaim for its ability to build 緊張 and develop characters, beyond the pure 血の塊／突き刺す alone, 収入 it a 近づく-perfect 99 per cent 率ing on Rotten Tomatoes.
Having ended on April 23, fans of the show are already calling for its 最高の，を越す 星／主役にするs to be rewarded with accolades when the next awards season comes around.

The scene is 始める，決める by English sailor John Blackthorne and his 乗組員 存在 逮捕（する）d by an ambitious 将軍,?Yabushige, after they wash up on the Japanese shore.
While?Yabushige is keen to keep 持つ／拘留する of the ship's 操縦する as a 取引ing 半導体素子, he にもかかわらず quenches his bloodlust by boiling one of Blackthorne's 同僚s alive for piracy.
After ordering guards to throw the sailor in a 巨大（な） vat, the 将軍 gets entertained by Kiku - the 地域's most renowned courtesan - within earshot.

Episode four ended with the most graphic scene of the show to that point when young Yoshii Nagakodo ordered 大砲 解雇する／砲火／射撃 to obliterate his father's 競争相手 in a gruesome 陳列する，発揮する

Far from a beacon of innocence, Yoshii Nagakado - the young 相続人 of 軍の 巨大（な） Yoshii Toranaga - ended this part of the 演劇 by ordering some of Blackthorne's armoury to be used to kill his father's 競争相手 and 保護するing Samurai.
The 大砲 解雇する／砲火／射撃 rained in on the cluster of 軍の men out of nowhere, leaving the 最初の／主要な 的 with an arm blown off but not dead as he lay の中で splattered 団体／死体s.
Unphased, Nagakodo （機の）カム in on foot to finish the 職業 with his sword, in what is seen around the land as a 宣言 of war.

A dinner party in episode five ends with Lady Toda Mariko nearly killed by a 逸脱する arrow - showing that 暴力／激しさ is never far away in Shogun
While dark 暴力／激しさ unquestionably pervades through Shogun, it is 始める，決める apart by an ability to 交換 that with scenes of 激しい 静める.
One of the best examples of this （機の）カム in episode five when the English sailor had dinner and sake - an アル中患者 Japanese drink - with Lady Toda Mariko, samurai Buntaro and his niece Fuji.
In an 増大するing 陳列する，発揮する of one-upmanship the 静める it broken as the sailor and the samurai tried to out-drink one another, driven by their unspoken 競争 for Mariko.
After 存在 goaded too far, Buntaro 解雇する／砲火／射撃d two 発射s of his crossbow and 辛うじて 行方不明になるd Mariko, as a 思い出の品 that 暴力／激しさ is never far away in the world we see on 審査する, while 避けるing the sense of this 存在 a series based on brainless 暴力／激しさ.

At the end of the fifth episode, the fragility of all the lords' 力／強力にする was put into 視野 when Toranaga got caught in a 地滑り and was nearly killed に引き続いて an 地震.
Blackthorne was 事実上の／代理 as an 可決する・採択するd general under Toranaga but p roved he was not out to 土台を崩す and 取って代わる him when he chased his boss 負かす／撃墜する the 廃虚s of the 地滑り to dig him to safety.
This was にもかかわらず it 明確に 存在 the sailor's first experience of such a natural 災害.

It is a stark contrast to earlier in episode five when Toranaga told his son in no uncertain 条件 to 信用 no-one, besides himself, and the later 陳列する，発揮する of 忠義 left him speechless.

A 劇の seventh episode saw Lord Toranaga betrayed by his brother Saeki Nobutatsu who overthrew him as Lord of Izu.
In another example of a 早い change from peace to 暴力／激しさ, a seemingly humourous anecdote by?Saeki developed into him 発表するing that he had done a を取り引きする Lord Ishido to 取って代わる his brother, as his 軍隊／機動隊s surrounded their base.
On 最高の，を越す of that, he 問題／発行するd Nagakado, his 甥, with an order to commit seppuku - ritual 自殺 -for 殺人ing Jozen.

The 交流 between Toranaga, his brother Saeki and so n Nagakado (seen), which ended with the latter dead, bore resemblance to Game Of 王位s' Red Wedding
The night of Saeki 明らかにする／漏らすing his betrayal, Nagakado こそこそ動くd into his uncle's ４半期/4分の1s in an 試みる／企てる to kill him.
In a furied attack, he chased Saeki outside and across a stream, but when his uncle lay helpless in the mud, Nagakado slipped on a 激しく揺する and died.
The 交流 drew comparisons with Game Of 王位s' 'Red Wedding' for its 血まみれの family 論争, though?co-creator Justin 示すs told Decider that they were 現実に thinking of 星／主役にする Wars: The Empire Strikes 支援する and the sense of dread felt by the 反逆者／反逆する 同盟 when Han 単独の is 明らかにする／漏らすd in carbonite.

The group were met by Ishido's own 軍隊s who killed the lady's 側近 but had orders to keep her alive.
受託するing her 運命／宿命, Mariko turned around, but - 公然と非難するing Ishido - 宣言するd that she would commit seppuku since she could not honour her 義務 to Toranaga.
This would lead to the same political result as Mariko dying in 戦う／戦い - Ishido would be exposed for keeping her 人質 and 勢い would turn against him.?
