His is one of the most recognisable smiles on the 惑星 ― not to について言及する that defined jawline and striking profile.

So when Tom 巡航する's daughter, Suri, stepped out last 週末 in New York on her 18th birthday, it was truly surprising to see just how much she looked like her famous father.

Yet while his daughter with actress Katie Holmes celebrated, her A-名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） father was 3,500 miles away, filming in London.

You might imagine most fathers would endeavour to 示す such a 目印 date in person with their daughter.

But the last time 巡航する was pictured in Suri's company was nearly 12 years ago, in July 2012, when she was just six.

It was a tumultuous time: he had just settled his 離婚 to Holmes and was enjoying a 保護／拘留 visit to Disney World Florida. Suri ― dressed as the Little Mermaid ― clutched her father's 手渡す.

Many people ― some of them 巡航する's former friends � � （人命などを）奪う，主張する he hasn't seen his daughter in person since then.

Could this かもしれない be true?

The question of what sort of 関係巡航する has with Suri ― he also has two older children, Bella and Connor, 可決する・採択するd during his marriage to Nicole Kidman ― is a riddle wrapped in an enigma and there is no （疑いを）晴らす answer.

Calls and emails to Amanda Lundberg, his publicist, and to his lawyer, asking whether he has seen Suri, go unanswered.

マイク Rinder, once Scientology's number three, knew 巡航する and his family first-手渡す for years. Since leaving the 宗教, he has spoken out against it, and recently published an autobiography A Billion Years.

Rinder tells me his own oldest children, who remain 信奉者s, will not speak to him because he has left the 宗教. He says he is sure this is the 推論する／理由 for the 明らかな決裂／故障 between 巡航する and Suri.

巡航する might take 問題／発行する with this, not least because it all comes from ex-Scientologists who 耐える animus に向かって his 宗教.

A Scientology 広報担当者 did not 答える／応じる to a request to discuss any 明確な／細部s of what the 状況／情勢 might be between Suri and 巡航する. However, the church has said in the past that it never 'orders' 信奉者s to disconnect from anyone, and the practice does not have anything to do with 'former members or people who are 批判的な of the Church'.

Yet it is 確かな that the happy family 未来 which 巡航する pictured for himself, Suri and her older siblings, who remain Scientologists, has not transpired.

Indeed, some say a 類似の dynamic can be seen after 巡航する's 離婚 from Nicole Kidman ― who no longer follows Scientology, and has seen very little of their children, Bella, 31, and Conor, now 29, since then.
