Think of Honda and you'll no 疑問 conjure up an image of a 安全な, reliable, practical 範囲 of family cars such as the CR-V SUV, 主要な支え of countless school runs.

It's the sensible 選択 ― the car you'll settle 負かす／撃墜する with after ill-advised, but character-forming, wild flings. Or as one worldly-wise 同僚 put it: 'You'll date The Fonz, but you'll marry Richie Cunningham.'

井戸／弁護士席, even Honda has a real 反抗的な bad boy in its line-up. And I've just been 運動ing it.

定価つきの from £46,995, the Honda 市民の Type R is the people's supercar 申し込む／申し出ing the sort of 運動ing thrills, excitement and 約束／交戦 you could 推定する／予想する from a 業績／成果 model costing three times as much.

It's a mainstream 市民の hatchback with 追加するd ロケット／急騰する boosters. Other than 株ing the 市民の 指名する, behind the wheel, you'd be hard 押し進めるd to realise they're 関係のある.

Riding on 19 in matt-黒人／ボイコット alloy wheels and Michelin 操縦する Sport 4S tyres, it's 8mm lower and 90mm wider tha n the 基準 hybrid 市民の e:HEV, and even 13mm lower and 15mm wider than the previous- 世代 Type R.

As a four-seater, it loses the 基準 市民の's 後部 centre seat. It is 力／強力にするd by an efficient 329 hp 2-litre, four-cylinder VTEC turbocharged 石油 engine linked to a 滑らかに 悪賢い and 正確な six-速度(を上げる） 手動式の gearbox.

After 運動ing so many (a)自動的な／(n)自動拳銃s and paddle 転換s, it was lovely to get 支援する to the 十分な 手渡すs-on 約束／交戦 and fun of a proper gearstick 転換 and racing-style stainless steel pedals. Acceleration feels and is swift from 残り／休憩（する） to 62 mph in 5.4 seconds up to a 最高の，を越す 速度(を上げる） of 171 mph.

But it's the Type R's sure-footedness navigating tight bends and punching hard out of them where the nimbleness and 支配する of this 前線-wheel 運動 (not all-wheel 運動) hot-hatch really shows.

With an aerodynamic wing and a cluster of three exhaust 麻薬を吸うs out 支援する, it has a nice revving soundtrack at 頂点（に達する） 業績／成果, and 満足させるing blips when you work 支援する 負かす／撃墜する the gears.

公式の／役人 燃料 economy is an ambitious 34.4 mpg with CO2 放出／発行s of 186 g/km.

The 開始する，打ち上げる of the all-new 市民の Type R comes as Honda celebrates 25 years of the Japanese car 会社／堅い's iconic high-業績／成果 hatchback ? and 50 years of the 市民の. 具体的に表現するing the 'spirit of racing' it is also the fastest and most powerful 市民の Type R to date.

Japan's Honda is, at heart, a company of engineers and 工学 excellence is at the （警官の）巡回区域，受持ち区域ing heart of everything they do. And the lean, mean 市民の Type R is the pinnacle of this finessing.

Honda says all 面s of the new 市民の Type R have been reengineered to 高くする，増す the sense of 運動ing exhilaration. The exterior 削減する has been aerodynamically modelled and 罰金-tuned using racing-奮起させるd data to 支配（する）／統制する 空気／公表する flow for greater 安定 and 高めるd downforce.

A new 後部 spoiler - also 利用できる in 炭素 fibre ? is designed to accentuate the sleek roofline and 与える／捧げる along with the lower-slung posture to the car's aerodynamic 業績／成果 and muscular 外見.

The 強化するd chassis is designed to dissipate energy away from the cabin but does mean やめる a hard ride at times, 特に over Britain's ますます bumpy potholed roads.

There are plenty of safety and 安定 features to 保護する the driver and 乗客s, but 歩行者 保護 has also been 改善するd with a new 'pop-up' bonnet to 軟化する the blow and mitigate 傷害s from the hard engine beneath in the event of a 衝突／不一致.

All in all, the Honda Type R is a real 急速な／放蕩な and furious boy-racer hot -hatch and a 広大な／多数の／重要な 運動 ? though I 疑問 your parents would 認可する.

運転者s could save up to £65 each year by 支払う／賃金ing their 年次の car 保険 賞与金 in a 選び出す／独身 lump sum rather than as 月毎の 支払い（額）s, says new 研究 from Comparethemarket.com.

The comparison 場所／位置 puts the 普通の／平均（する） 年次の cost at £688 paid 月毎の, against £623 as a 選び出す／独身 lump sum.And that gap has 増加するd by £12 year-on-year as 普通の／平均（する） 年次の 賞与金s have risen by £71, or by £83 paid 月毎の.
