I only ask because of Thursday’s start to our 年次の 運動, Dine and Disco caper (pict ured below) for Children in Need.

伝統的に, this kicks off with a classic 自動車 adventure 負かす／撃墜する to the New Forest ? and for this year’s honour, seven couples between them 企て，努力，提案 (wait for it, 派手に宣伝する roll...) HALF A MILLION POUNDS.

But unbelievably, that’s not all! When they’ve 完全にするd their 使節団, we join up with another 30 couples who’ve paid a その上の half a million 続けざまに猛撃するs for two more days of mayhem... starting on Saturday with 激しく揺する ’n’ Roll ゴルフ (含むing the Ball Nearest The Pork Pie challenge) and Jonny’s Big 質問（する） (first prize: a pork-pie 妨害する and a day with us at 無線で通信する 2), followed by a シャンペン酒 歓迎会 at my pub and an evening of some of the finest food known to mankind, 用意が出来ている by Italian culinary god Giorgio Locatelli.

No pork pies will be 伴う／関わるd in this 脚.

After that, the live music kicks off in our Teepee of Love in the beer garden. This comes 法廷，裁判所s y of James Blunt, Paolo Nutini and Paloma 約束, all three of whom are bringing their 小旅行する buses with them. Where will our chef park his bike?

Now on to today.

Depending on what time on Sunday you’re reading this, I will be さもなければ engaged as follows:

8am: 試みる／企てるing to wake/get up after DJing till 2am in the Teepee of Love.

9.30: In a ヘリコプター on my way to the Goodwood Festival of 速度(を上げる） to 会合，会う up with all the 入札者s for day four of this year’s event, which 最高潮に達するs in a day of worship to the 内部の-燃焼 engine.

10.00: Welcoming guests to our brunch/lunch/tea 控訴 位置を示すd 長，率いる-on to the first bend of the famous Goodwood Hill Climb.

12.00: 登録（する）ing at the Drivers’ Club.

12.30: Waiting nervously in line in my Ferrari 250 GTO (just 支援する from an eight-month 復古／返還 at the factory in Italy ? and 運動ing like a dream) at the 底（に届く） of the hill, hoping to high heaven she doesn’t overheat.

13.00: Foot on the gas and up we go in 前線 of tens of thousands of people, trying to look like I ばく然と know what I’m doing. 急速な／放蕩な enough to be worthy of the honour, not so 急速な／放蕩な as to 危険 in any way hitting the 悪名高い flint 塀で囲む ? the same one a 確かな former F1 driver 攻撃する，衝突する a few years ago, 令状ing off his gazillion-続けざまに猛撃する car in the 過程.

14.00: A 静めるing ale followed by an afternoon of wonder and woe as the プロの／賛成のs (吊りくさび Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel and pals) show us how to zip up the course 適切に in all sorts of magnificent machines, 範囲ing from 現在の grand prix cars to vintage motorbikes.

18.30: Noah’s bath time.

19.00: 選ぶ up Sunday takeaway ? Chinese, Indian or, my preferred combo 選択, Chindian.

19.15: Try to stay awake long enough to eat it.

Cars continue to be a recurring 主題 in the Evans 世帯, where, to my surprise, during one of the few discourses when I wasn’t extolling their endless virtues, my wife Natasha decided to bring up the 支配する.

Over a 罰金 slow-roasted shank of lamb on Tuesday, 法外なd in gravy and 造幣局 sauce, she 攻撃する，衝突する on a ruse.

‘I know. Let’s 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） all the cars you’ve owned since we met. I bet it’ll take us most of the night.’

Some things in life always go unquestioned, 簡単に because that’s how they’ve always been.

I’m talking about things such as why we still need an amber light to tell us to get ready at a 始める，決める of traffic lights, or why kids who …に出席する posh schools appear spookily better-looking than those who don’t, or why my mum hasn’t melted away after having her living room so hot for so many years.

I’m worried about a man who often tries to 救助（する） me in my 最新の recurring dream. It centres around me becoming stuck in some 肉親，親類d of Victorian cellar only 明白な from the street 経由で an open grid.

This man always appears and 申し込む／申し出s me his 手渡す so I can reach up and he can pull me out. The problem is that whenever I 得る，とらえる 持つ／拘留する of it, his arm 敏速に 落ちるs off and I get smacked in the 直面する with the soggy end.

The scene of the mystery this week was my dressing room at The One Show. I had it when I got there at lunchtime and I didn’t have it when I arrived to 会合，会う my wife for dinner later that evening.
