My friend's sausage dog ripped off a chunk of my cheek - it's 廃虚d my life and I can't go 支援する to work

A 選び出す／独身 mother whose cheek was 荒廃させるd by a friend's?pet dachshund has 認める that her 'life has been 廃虚d' and her self-esteem '絶対 destroyed' by the scars that she has been left with.?

Kelly Allen, 45, from Swansea, was enjoying a few drinks at a friend's house last month when their 'very friendly' dog underwent a sudden change in its demeanour and latched on to her 直面する.?

The dog 辞退するd to 緩和する its 支配する and had soon torn off and eaten a large chunk of her cheek, leaving Kelly with an open 負傷させる that 要求するd five and a half hours of plastic 外科 and more than 40 stiches.

The sausage dog was 除去するd from the 所有物／資産／財産 by police and later put 負かす／撃墜する.

Kelly is 捜し出すing 補償（金） after learning that the dog had 恐らく already attacked two people, but this could take several years.

The ordeal still haunts Kelly, who 定期的に wakes during the night crying and cannot 直面する returning to her work at a 接触する centre for the travel company Tui 予定 to the 外傷／ショック and physical 外見.

She now struggles to leave the house without 存在 …を伴ってd by one of her two sons ? Fletcher, 19, and Cooper, 18 ? and the £350 statutory sick 支払う／賃金 she is receiving each month is not enough to cover her 法案s and living costs.

To help her stay afloat, Kelly is depending on her family, and her sister Stacey, 43, has 開始する，打ち上げるd a fundraiser which has received more than £1,000 in 寄付s.

'I can't get out of bed and I've been crying in my sleep because I feel his teeth in me,' Kelly said.?

'I'm left with a hideous scar on my 直面する. It's just 廃虚d my life, because it will never be the same now.

'I now have to buy 偽装する make-up for people who have facial disfigurements ? that's something I never thought I would have to do.

'I'm a 選び出す／独身 mum and I can't afford my electric and gas most weeks ? it just seems so 不公平な.'

Kelly had gone to a friend's house for drinks on Friday March 15.

Kelly was 扱う／治療するd in hospital for her 負傷させる s where she underwent five and a half hours of plastic 外科. The 選び出す／独身 mother says the scars that she has been left with have destroyed her self-esteem?

Her friend, who she does not wish to 指名する, had a pet dachshund which was showing no 調印するs of 侵略 when Kelly arrived at around 9:30pm.

'He was very friendly and didn't show any 調印するs of 存在 an 積極的な dog,' she said.

'He was laying on his 支援する for belly rubs, and put his 長，率いる in my （競技場の）トラック一周 a couple of times.'

But later that evening, Kelly was sitting on the kitchen 床に打ち倒す, leaning against one of the kitchen 反対するs, when the dog's demeanour suddenly changed.

When she looked away for a 分裂（する） second, the dog pounced, 沈むing its teeth into her cheek.

'I turned my 長，率いる に向かって the 支援する door, where my friend was standing,' said Kelly.

'He didn't bark or growl, or make any noise, he just 肺d and 大（公）使館員d to my 直面する.

Kelly explained that the dog underwent a sudden change in its demeanour and latched on to her 直面する before 涙／ほころびing a piece out of her cheek?

'I could feel his teeth 深い inside my cheek ? I still get flashbacks now.'

Kelly remembers 繰り返して shouting 'get him off' as 血 began to poor 負かす／撃墜する her 直面する.

Another friend 急ぐd into the kitchen and grabbed the dog's collar, but its jaws were locked and would not let go.

'The only 推論する／理由 he got off was because he ripped that piece of flesh off and ate it,' she said.

'He didn't 解放（する）, he pulled it off and I felt the 肌 涙／ほころび.'

As Kelly つまずくd to her feet, the dog bit her again, this time on her arm.

Fortunately, she was able to break 解放する／自由な and run out of the room.

'I've never had so much 血,' she 追加するd.

'I looked in her mirror which was straight in 前線 of me and thought 'shit, I'm in trouble'.'

They すぐに called 999 but were told there was a かなりの wait.

The dog first bit Kelly on her facer and then on her arm. She underwent a 肌 汚職，収賄, with doctors taking 肌 from her neck and putting it on her cheek??

恐れるing she would 'bleed to death', Kelly called a friend who had not been drinking with them and asked for a 解除する to 事故 and 緊急 at Morriston Hospital.

'They numbed the area and scrubbed the 負傷させる with what looked like a Brillo pad because of all the bacteria that's in dogs' mouths,' she said.

'They were leaning me over a 沈む and scrub, scrub, scrub, scrub, scrub… it was agony.

'They then 注ぐd water over me for five minutes, which felt like I was 存在 waterboarded. It was horrific.'

With her 負傷させる 包帯d, Kelly was told she could return home and wait for the plastic 外科 team to 接触する her.

At 7.50am, she received a phone call from the hospital telling her to 'come 支援する すぐに' as she needed to have 外科.

'I met with the plastics team who explained what they were going to do,' she said.

'They were going to take a piece of 肌 from my neck and 汚職，収賄 it on my 直面する.'

Kelly was on the operating （米）棚上げする／（英）提議する for five and half hours before waking with a 包帯 stitched to her 直面する and a seven-インチ scar across her collarbone.

In total, she 要求するd more than 40 stitches ? 36 on her chest and six on her arm.

The ordeal has taken a 激しい （死傷者）数 on her mental health and knocked her 信用／信任.

'My self-esteem has been 絶対 destroyed and I don't go out any more,' said Kelly.

'If it wasn't for my の近くに friends and family, I don't know where I would be now.

'I can't go to the shops any more, unless my son comes with me.

'I just don't live my life.'

She has not been able to 直面する going 支援する to work since the attack.

'I can't go 支援する to work, because I can't 直面する people, I just can't do it,' she said.

'I can't concentrate and I don't know what's going to happen.'

The 出来事/事件 has also put a lot of 緊張する on Kelly's 財政／金融s as she only receives £350 a month statutory sick 支払う／賃金.

'My 雇用者s have been amazing and r eally supportive,' she said.

'I'm now making a 合法的な （人命などを）奪う，主張する, but that could （問題を）取り上げる to two years and in the 合間 I've got no income.

'I'm not する権利を与えるd to anything else because I'm still 雇うd and I can't give up my 職業 to get income support, because then I lose my 職業.

'So I'm just in a really hard place at the moment.'

To help cover her 法案s, Kelly's sister has 開始する，打ち上げるd a fundraiser on GoFundMe which has already received more than £1,000 in 寄付s.

It transpired that this was not the first time the dog had attacked someone.

Kelly said she did not want to 伴う／関わる the police but they were called after staff at the hospital saw the severity of her 負傷させるs.

The dog was later 除去するd and put 負かす／撃墜する after 存在 taken to a training 施設 in Cardiff, によれば Kelly.

'I have since 設立する out that the dog had attacked other people,' she said.

'The people around me have been amazing.

'It's thanks to them that I'm still waking up every day at the moment.

'I don't think anyone should be on their own going through something like this.'
