PHD student Miriam, 38, felt Chris was 'undermining my intellectual achievements'

PHD student Miriam, 38, felt Chris was '土台を崩すing my 知識人 業績/成就s'

Dating Past

My most 最近の 関係s were both long-称する,呼ぶ/期間/用語 ― one for over six years and another for five. I took on a lot of the 激しい 解除するing with my last partner. Men now seem to look for 採択 rather than a partner.

Pre-Date 神経s?

Yes, I’m a bit shy and was 会合 someone who sounded way cooler than me on his profile. He’s in a 禁止(する)d. Mum was keen to go through her dresses. She’s 74, but looks young for her age and buys beautiful 着せる/賦与するs, 反して I tend to go for charity shops. For once, I wore one of my own dresses.

First Impressions?

Chris had a red shirt on, and it struck me he’d made an 成果/努力. I didn’t find him attractive すぐに. We did that ぎこちない British thing of not knowing whether to 抱擁する or shake 手渡すs so bumped into one another. Chris said he’d 調印するd up for a blind date ‘because why not’, which didn’t make me feel very special.

平易な To Talk To?

I told Chris my PHD was on AI and he replied, ‘Oh that’s topical, isn’t it?’ Er ? yes. I had already told him I was 熟考する/考慮するing for a PHD, but he ‘forgot’ and referred to it as a Masters. He also made a 言及/関連 to me ‘learning’ Welsh rather than ‘speaking’ it. I felt that he was 土台を崩すing my 知識人 achi evements, which I didn’t like. I was amazed he had also started a Masters in Psychotherapy, because he isn’t very self-aware. It made sense when he 認める he didn’t finish the course.

Embarrassing Moments?

I don’t think so, which is good because I’m 普通は clumsy.

Did 誘発するs 飛行機で行く?

No, if I like someone I get nervous and giggly, and there was no chance of that with Chris. There was no flirting on either 味方する.

'There was no flirting on either side,' said Miriam

See him again?

No, we were together for two hours and we left when I said I had to catch my train 支援する to むちの跡s. We didn’t 交換(する) numbers.

What do you think he thought of you?

Chris didn’t engage with me at all, so I didn’t leave the date feeling good about myself.

Would your parents like him?

NO I don’t think so. My parents want to see me with someone supportive of my goals.

MIRIAM’S VERDICT: 3/10

LIKED? We 株d food.

REGRETS? No, it’s good to go outside my 慰安 zone.

COFFEE OR CAB? Cab.

WOULD LIKE TO MEET

Someone curious about the world, 肯定的な, 去っていく/社交的な, quick to laugh. I can’t do those materialistic types.

Dating Past

I 分裂(する) from my wife of four years just over ten years ago. Since then, I’ve been 伴う/関わるd in a couple of shorter 関係s but nothing recently. I’m the youngest of three boys and it’s just me who is 選び出す/独身 now. I am keen to settle 負かす/撃墜する.

Pre-Date 神経s?

A little bit but nothing to worry about. I know I have good people 技術s.

First Impressions?

肯定的な - I got a good friendly vibe from Miriam. She’s got dark hair and is 公正に/かなり わずかな/ほっそりした. I 設立する her attractive, although there wasn’t any 即座の ‘electricity’. I gave her a 抱擁する and pulled her 議長,司会を務める out for her to sit 負かす/撃墜する. She struck me as a very engaging woman.

平易な To Talk To?

'I’m the youngest of three boys and it’s just me who is single now,' says Chris. 'I am keen to settle down'

The small talk was unusual. We covered Miriam learning the Welsh language, which I 設立する fascinating. I was impressed with her 熟考する/考慮するs, too. I think it’s something to do with AI? It’s beyond my level of understanding. She did live in Mexico in between all those years 熟考する/考慮するing with her nose in a 調書をとる/予約する.?Miriam asked me about my 禁止(する)d, and I explained that I play keyboard and sing 支援 声のs.

Embarrassing Moments?

No. Miriam did 減少(する) her cutlery at one point, but that wasn’t embarrassing.

Did 誘発するs 飛行機で行く?

I would say no, not in the sense of romance. While it felt like we were on the same wavelength, there was no physical attraction. Afterwards I realised I should have complimented her on her looks. But I didn’t, and I put that 負かす/撃墜する to Miriam 存在 so talkative.

See her again?

No, you need a 誘発する. If there had been obvious 調印するs she liked me, then perhaps I would have 追求するd things, but they weren’t there. We didn’t 交換(する) numbers and just had a friendly 抱擁する.

What do you think she thought of you?

I’d guess she would say that I was 平易な to talk to because we spent two hours together and the conversation didn’t stop.

Would your friends like her?

Yes, Miriam is very grounded with her 長,率いる screwed on. She’s got good values, too.

CHRIS’S VERDICT: 8/10

LIKED? Miriam is talkative.

REGRETS? Not really, no.
