An autistic mother took her own life hours after 存在 told her six-month-old baby might be put up for 採択, an 検死 has 設立する.

Fern Foster, 22, died on July 8, 2020, after an email sent to her partner by his solicitor 輪郭（を描く）d the news that their child might be 可決する・採択するd.

Fern's baby had gone into foster care almost a month after she was born, in January 2020, after the support Fern's family believe she was する権利を与えるd to was not put into place.

上級の 検死官 for Buckinghamshire Crispin Butler 結論するd that the 欠如（する） of an 独立した・無所属 支持する and the way in which news of the 採択 of Fern's child was communicated to her 与える／捧げるd more than minimally to her 決定／判定勝ち（する） to end her own life

The 法廷，裁判所 heard that Fern, from 修道士s Risborough, Bucks, was 診断するd with autism at 15 and struggled to get the support she needed, often using self-害（を与える） as a way of communicating her 苦しめる.

Fern 設立する out she was 妊娠している on 25 July 2019 and すぐに after, Buckinghamshire Children's Services became 伴う／関わるd.

The 法廷，裁判所 heard that Fern, who aspired to become an English teacher, was delighted when she 設立する out she was 妊娠している, and the news changed her 見通し on life.

While she was 妊娠している, and up to the point of her child 存在 taken from her, she did not engage in any self-害（を与える）ing or other behaviour that would put her or her baby at r isk.

The 法廷，裁判所 heard how Fern needed help at a much earlier 行う／開催する／段階 from an 独立した・無所属 支持する who could help her understand and engage with professionals.

This was the 選び出す／独身 largest reasonable 調整 that could have been made to support Fern's needs.

Fern had 以前 示すd 意向s of taking her own life were her child 可決する・採択するd, and the 法廷，裁判所 heard that the manner in which 計画（する）s 示すing 採択 were communicated to her was a 重要な 誘発する／引き起こす for Fern's 活動／戦闘s.

No communication 計画（する） had been put in place and Fern became aware of the news 経由で an email sent to her partner by his solicitor.

Fern's family 述べる her as 有望な, 肉親，親類d, caring and conscientious and someone who left a 継続している impression with everyone she met.

Fern's sister Rowan said: 'We are pleased that the 欠如（する） of advocacy 供給するd in Fern's care, and the 不適切な 配達／演説／出産 of the 提案するd care 計画（する） for 採択 that the 地元の 当局 had submitted, have been recognised as the 原因（となる）s of Fern's death.

'Mothers who 直面する their children 存在 除去するd should be supported, 特に autistic mothers, as autistic women have a 13 times higher 危険 of death by 自殺.

'It is 悲劇の that there was never a （疑いを）晴らす 計画（する） to support Fern to be a mother, nor to 保護する her safety when she was told that would not be possible.

'These 必須の 必要物／必要条件s were 繰り返して ignored, 必然的に 押し進めるing Fern to breaking point. This was no way to 扱う／治療する a 攻撃を受けやすい, 無能にするd, first time mum.'

'We believe that the 欠如（する） of understanding and 受託 of autism in women and girls 意味ありげに 与える／捧げるd to the poor care that Fern received.

'She was 診断するd late, 繰り返して labelled with a personality disorder that she did not have, and the stigma around this led to her 存在 害（を与える）d.

'Fern was open about her suicidality, yet she was not taken 本気で.

'The misdiagnosis of personality disorders must end, as must the 刑罰の and dangerous culture of care which comes と一緒に them.

'Finally, we feel that the 権利 of autistic parents to 接近 the support they deserve is not adequately 保護するd in 政策 or 法律. It is imperative that this changes and that autistic parents are 保護するd in 未来.'

Caleb Bawdon, a Leigh Day solicitor who 代表するd the family said: 'Fern's family welcome the 検死官's 結論 which 認めるs that she was 不正に let 負かす／撃墜する before her death.

'It is approaching four years since Fern's death but her family have been （疑いを）晴らす from the very start about the difference that 接近 to 独立した・無所属 advocacy would have made to the 結果.

'It is a testament to the strength and courage of her family during this time that the 検死官 has now agreed with them, and they are 感謝する for the care and consideration he took in 行為／行うing his 調査.'
