'The major thing it bought me was 早期に 退職, so I was able to retire at 58 when I would have struggled to retire at 60, given that I'd always been in a poor 血まみれの infantry as a teacher,' he 追加するd.

'I was never 長,率いる of department, 井戸/弁護士席 I was 長,率いる of department of a one-man department which hardly counts! I was never 長,率いる of year or 副 長,率いる or anything like that so the salary of which my 年金 was based was going to be 公正に/かなり modest so retiring before 60 was just going to be a 麻薬を吸う dream.'

Mr 恐れる now competes in pub quizzes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Red Lion in Wellington and the Last Inn Newport.

'We don't always 勝利,勝つ and 率直に I'm the weakest member of our team!' Mr 恐れる 追加するd. 'There's a couple lads I teach in the team, one of them particular is an 絶対の genius. If he was going to go on Millionaire, he'd 勝利,勝つ it for sure.'

'It's nice because the eldest and youngest daughters both used it for 所有物/資産/財産, middle daughter didn't need it for 所有物/資産/財産 but she was able to 始める,決める up a small 商売/仕事 instead,' he explained. 'That made her so much happier, she was working 最小限 行う 職業s for not very nice 雇用者s to be honest and she became her own boss.

'It's wonderful. Nothing compared to the 肯定的な 衝撃 they've had on me! I'm a much better person because of those people.'

Mrs 恐れる 追加するd: 'It's been nice. Unfortunately my father passed away at the time of the 勝利,勝つ and he never got to know because we had to keep it 静かな, so I think the money made such a difference to my mother because she did a lot to her house, it kept her busy, I think it helped her get over it.

'Every time I see her, she still 会談 about it how 感謝する she is and what a lovely thing you did. So it really has made a difference to people.

Mr 恐れる continued: 'やめる 率直に, it didn't occur to me not to do it - I'd already had a 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) of people who was going to get what. It's just wonderful to have the 適切な時期 to do that 肉親,親類d of thing.'

The grandfather-of-four has around 60 to 70 per cent left of the £300,000 he ended up with - but it is all tied up in 投資s.

He joked: 'It's probably just 同様に, if it was just in a 経常収支 I'd be dipping into it for no 推論する/理由 at all. I'm not the most frugal of people, unlike my wife!
